  1. @Consept "What can be done now" Make the world a school. Leo talked about this at some point, so to speak, when he mentioned just wondering why things happen, just figuring out how things work. So that's one way to do it. Another important thing is to just accept and appreciate. Accept and feel sadness, longing, pain. Get to know your anger and realize what its all about. There's a lot of asking that is possible nowadays - technology's a massive gift. Treating the world as a school. In a school you learn and yet you're still a student, no matter how good you are. Well, applying the lessons too. The truth is here, and yet its not here. Time gives the truth but time - were within time. We cannot grasp it. So might as well live, enjoy life, and learn. "While you live, live." - J Krishnamurti
  2. @Pudgey I don't know what this forums rules are about asking questions but I find no problem in asking them. It's better to have discussions around it than ignoring your mind's own desire to seek answers. Answers are not certain (hence people still existing, if questions are so easily answered people just simply won't get up in the morning). I don't know you and what i said wasn't personal. I'm just tired of seeing people acting like answers are so easy to find. They're not. News medias and YouTube channels and publications - these people are as clueless as we are. We don't have the answers and that's why people should ask-- it's better than sitting it out. Drugs are cool and people cannot always get them. They might not be for everyone either. So yeah, discussions over passive agreement. Think Bertrand russell originally said that too.

  4. @Pudgey yet you are posting him an egotistical self righteous message. what makes you better than him? please.
  5. read my self actualization journal on instincts and stuff but seriously though. build your character. basically the essence of all self-help. know your weaknesses and strengths and desires and fears. people pay for psychotherapy just for these stuff, but actually self-help can be learned from anywhere. from philosophers, from people you admire, from life. It's more easier than ever to do these given that were literally talking in a forum, but at the same time, no, because... decreased attention span for the many? so be sure to devote a lot of time to it. otherwise you're free to become literally anyone... a ceo, an artist, a serial killer... the world has no rules, because really it exists only in our consciousness. like, dogs literally don't know shit about our human stuff.
  6. @Meditationdude That's actuallly what Stoicism was all about, precisely development towards that. I don't know if people are like that at all but me... far from it. I doubt/second guess myself all the time, within reason or otherwise. (I don't doubt my values but as far as decisions go I'm an overthinker.)
  7. The only way There are beautiful moments in other places but they aren't exactly happy... too subjective to be called as that
  8. Reality is very deceptive (and we are very much prone to illusions) and at the same time very tangible. That's why so many are neurotic to say the least. (Trying to describe reality here as it is the main topic anyway) Possibility... it's a great great gift that can easily be a curse. Possibility can breed both creativity and anxiety. At worst, it could lead to antisocial or criminal behavior. I think it's tragic when people lose their capability to see possibilities that they truly cherish... i think this is called passivity (or the same as...) Possibility can also be drained from a person. An indication that he / she needs to rest, maybe? Which again is the nature of things, yin and yang sorta thing. Possibility beats money stacks imo. But you got to pick the very best ones, and be very good at generating them too. Kinda like a game too, y'know
  9. Surprised no one said "By being like me" yet I'm jk
  10. Love how he turned our "nothingness" into a concrete matterr (nothingness because every other opinion is just bs... no superiority or anything. No hierarchy, therefore nothingness, universality. At least what I took from it...) I remember his latest two spiral dynamics videos to be excellent too (lots of awesome info there that I enjoyed, similar to the conscious politics series, with all its models and lists of ideas... grunt work that payed off beautiful haha.)
  11. I think the main achievement of stage yellow is realizing that man's mind alone has the capacity for so much... so f-ing much in this world. Then they demonstrated how to do precisely that (in their own way and so on.) Also I think only stage yellow and turquoise understood this simple truth, about the powerful capabilities of the human mind.
  12. @seeking_brilliance Yeah. Sad. I'm not saying that to insult Leo but it would just be a tragic thing, personally.
  13. Surprised at how so much is agreeing with the forum getting closed
  14. @Leo Gura Come on Leo is that the way of absolute truth,???
  15. Above anything it allows us to make distinctions. In a variety of ways at that I don't wanna get too abstract but that I think is the fundamental reason for why we can't live without language
  16. Work on your identity. Your dreams, desires, fabtasies. Do that as much as you want. Then live that fantasy.
  17. @Farnaby if the man's not looking for validation from you (which can easily be read through his words and actions) then yes vulnerable is great. especially if it goes with his overall character well.
  18. @clararockmore good taste ?‍♀️
  19. I think its the consciousness state you get after a mystical experience/or maybe several of them
  20. Ego is unconsciousness/active ignorance (Goethe). The ego becomes evil once it starts defending its own agenda, or do worse
  21. Big cosmic mystery right here? This applies to trans girls too actually
