  1. Seems like you care a little too much what people think. To hell with what other peoples opinion are of you, no one is perfect. Fear is an illusion.
  2. Meditation - started out as a chore almost, but now I enjoy it. Sitting in nature is always a good thing.
  3. Jaded much? Lol Wise advice. I find myself going in and out of contextual variations of Infinite Love. God has the power to frame Truth in an infinite number of ways, may as well choose the highest.
  4. Agree with @Flowerfaeiry The pandemic was a blessing in disguise for me, in terms of being able to work from home, and meditate incrementally from the comfort of my apartment without dealing with a commute or bothersome co-workers. Now with the economy opening back up, wage slaves are expected to go back to…well, slaving. I’m also having to figure out how to juggle spirituality with a 9 to 5. Some things are just to good to turn your back on, spirituality is one of them. Good luck
  5. The sad thing is that there is no recipe. We all have unique ego structures. But if I had to guess, start by asking yourself what you fear the most (can be specific or abstract). Then deeply explore it….like really deeply. It’s like finding a gold nugget in a dirt pile…the process sucks, but the result is unmatched.
  6. True, I am you and you are me..we are One. The Oneness is what recognizes how alone it is. Nonetheless…wholeness comes with it ❤️
  7. @KennedyCarter best of luck! There’s been a surge of US workers leaving jobs for more flexibility and higher wages. The pandemic has changed the way we look at work and wages for sure.
  8. You are on it....just replace 'Are we' with 'Am I'
  9. Getting shit-faced, realizing God, renouncing alcohol = Getting the message, hanging up phone. Getting shit-faced, realizing (or not realizing) God, keep drinking = Getting the message, not hanging up phone. Relatively speaking, both methods are toxic to the body, with the latter having graver consequences.
  10. Being authentic is tricky, fear of death ultimately stands in the way. It’s human nature to want to be accepted socially, I find the more authentic you are, the less you fit into the social matrix.
  11. This is your ego trying to play God. It has preferences and divides the world up into good and bad, good being that which favors it and bad being that which doesn’t. But ultimately, your ego doesn’t control shit. That’s the bad news. The good news is that you can realize that your Ego is an illusion.
  12. For me, it’s a deep understanding of the infinite nature of reality. The question itself can have an infinite number of answers..and they would all be legit.
  13. Yea, but relatively speaking, let’s not use mysticism to excuse any kind of alcoholism or other low consciousness addictions. Being sober is also a mystical experience if you want to go that route. Name me a shaman or mystic who’s a drunkard lol…exactly There is an ex alcoholic who used non duality to escape his addiction. Google Paul Hedderman.
  14. Drunk blackouts and mystical experiences shouldn’t even be in the same sentence. Alcohol is a poison and damages the brain and other internal organs/nerves.
  15. This is also the case when you are talking to humans. You think there is a "you" that the human is interacting with, but they are actually looking at nothing. Therefore your perceived relationships with them are indeed imaginary....and they don't exist just like your physical body doesn't. Scary stuff
  16. @diamondpenguin True..it's also built on some nasty stuff too. Slavery, exploitation, corruption, pillaging, colonization, etc. The thing is, we're always building...the foundation is never stagnant, it changes as the country becomes more conscious.
  17. People who are pro abortion and eat meat are also hypocrites. Example: "Anti abortion is against women's rights!" But.......animals don't have rights to their bodies as well? And I'm not choosing a side here, we're all hypocrites in some way.
  18. The good thing about following Actualized.org teachings is that we're able to screen out people like this within 30 seconds to 2 minutes of listening to their perspectives on God.
  19. What do you all look for in a worthy trip sitter? I have a buddy who offered to take some LSD with me (it'll be my first time). He doesn't actually use it for consciousness work though, he's tripped at parties..and to just go out to have fun/party. I'm not sure if I should trip with him, because he has no insight to some of the spiritual concepts discussed on the forum and channel. I want to trip with someone aware of these things...but I may be over thinking.
  20. Agreed, thanks! Yes - the hardest thing is listening to our own wisdom sometimes. I'll go for what feels appropriate in this situation.
  21. @James12345 that's fair. And I remember in one of Leo's vids on psychedelics mentioned it either be alone, or with one person max that you trust and is sober.
  22. When libertarianism meets women's rights in one saying lol. I think pro-abortion stances can have hints of selfishness in them. I challenge us all to lead with the question, what is the most conscious way to handle abortion? Win-win thinking.
  23. Yep (this includes gaining insights of course) Thanks so much for the feedback, this is helpful. My friend mentioned taking LSD, going to the park, listening to music....and I'm like all of this sounds overwhelming, shouldn't I be in a quiet place?
  24. Ah..I did not know the sitter should actually be sober lol. Duly noted. I've known him for about 5 years, I'd consider him a close friend just in our everyday personal lives. He did give me the run down on how he would set up the right environment for me to trip on LSD tabs. He's very trustworthy, but again, I've never tripped with him. I guess my real question is, is it a little too much to expect sitters to be familiar with God, consciousness, infinity, etc? Most folks I know that trip do it recreationally...which isn't a bad thing, as long as they know what they are doing....I guess.
