  1. It is, but it is also playing the life of a dog and a dog is not supposed to know all minds simultaneously If you (ego) knew all minds simultaneously you wouldn't exist anymore. A dog could not exist if it knew all minds simultaneously. If a dog knew all minds simultaneously then it isn't a dog anymore. You limit God by saying that you should have access to all minds. You are trying to say that God cannot create something that is finite and cannot access other minds.
  2. Being every creature in the universe does not mean you get to tap into other minds at will. If this was possible you would not be yourself anymore. If this was possible it would completely defeat the purpose of being a human being, you wouldn't be human anymore. If I was God and I wanted to become a dog, I would not allow that dog to look into other minds because that is not what dogs are supposed to do. If you were able to look into your friend's mind, you and your friend would not exist anymore, it would become a combination of you and your friend. Lets imagine that you are God and you want to become everyone In order for you to be everyone you must rid yourself of any memories of being God, because you are not supposed to be God, you are supposed to be a human. This is exactly why you can't access Donald Trump's POV even though you are Donald Trump. If you accessed Donald Trump's POV, you would not be yourself anymore, you would be Donald Trump.
  3. The meditation in this video may help I really like this video too
  4. This will be tough since a very small percentage of people are very conscious I'm lucky to have a brother who is into this stuff but I am still stuck with lots of unconscious friends right now
  5. @Don Wei Damn that's crazy As a baby, I wasn't scared, I was just shocked and intrigued by the situation But, now that I'm older, I think I would probably be scared if I saw the same ghost lol
  6. I straight up saw some sort of spirit/ghost when I was baby, it was 100% there. It had a blue tint around its body and it looked like a child. I remember looking around at my mom to make sure I wasn't dreaming but I couldn't even talk at that age. The only reason I remember it is because of how shocking it was. For some reason it seems children are able to see this stuff more easily
  7. @Red-White-Light Yeah animal psychology is weird. I've seen a video of a deer eating a small bird even though deer are considered herbivores. I also saw a video of a horse eating a baby chick right in front of the mother. It seems like they are very unaware of their actions in relation to other animals. Really, they'll just eat whatever their body allows them. I think it is possible for an animal to truly love but they are scavengers by nature and when you die you leave them no other source of food. Who knows what is really going on in their head though.
  8. Turiya? I accidentally went into to turiya for a few seconds as I was waking up and it was pretty crazy, not sure if your situation is the same Did you experience nothing? No body, no smell, no sight, no sensations, only your mind?
  9. oh man ive seen videos of this What about dogs? I don't think so EDIT: Ok apparently dogs do too
  10. There may be such a thing, but if such a thing does exist it would be a relative mechanic in this world and not an absolute feature of reality So, it wouldn't have to necessarily apply to some other reality. Maybe another universe exists where there is no such thing as "old souls" or past lives or whatever, assuming it exists in this one But for your main question, I don't think you would keep a limited form of consciousness eternally, because that is eternal ignorance and suffering Perhaps for a while you would retain certain information from past lives in your consciousness/soul, but I don't know if such a mechanism actually exists
  11. Reality will not lie to you Truth = exactly what exists. Something cannot exist if it is a lie, otherwise it's not a lie and it is real. If someone tells you Santa Clause exists, what is true is that someone told you Santa Clause exists, not that you actually witnessed Santa Clause existing in your direct experience. It is possible to witness Truth and turn it into delusion though, see the Santa Clause example above. You might have actually believed Santa to exist because someone told you so, even though it was never in your direct experience. Then, what is real is your delusion about Santa Clause. Yeah basically. Leo also has videos on Truth you can watch
  12. Yeah I've seen videos of some seriously incompetent police, they unnecessarily escalate the situation and end up shooting people because of it. They need more people skills. I don't understand how some of them end up becoming officers
  13. Police Activity is a really good channel to see what its like from the cop's perspective (Not for the faint of heart, obviously) Look at how fast this situation turns deadly In this video you can see how hard it can be to decide when it is acceptable to use deadly force. I honestly think she should have shot earlier, the guy was WAY to close, you'd be surprised at how fast people can cover distance.
  14. Beauty, at its core, is appreciation and love towards aspects of reality. Things you don't find beautiful threaten your survival and identity.
  15. Yeah it is pretty hard to decode certain parts of religion. But also religion is sort of trivia, it's not necessary for learning spirituality. It's a finger that points to the moon, and not a very good one after all the years of manipulation and devilry involved with it. I would really like a video on religions though, would be cool.
  16. @kagaria Yeah, give a child a wooden doll and he'll play with it for hours without getting bored
  17. My signature "If you showed a caveman our technology, he would think it was magic. And if you showed a modern man magic, he would think it was technology." Everything is magic, basically. It's an interesting way of displaying Arthur C. Clarke's quote: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
  18. Rules from the Core Principles 53 - Satisfy your base needs so that you stop craving. Water, food, money, sex, etc. 54 - Master your basic survival and livelihood. Basic survival needs to be mastered first, because how are you gonna self-actualize if you're homeless? You gotta get your foundation built before moving onto the big stuff. Easier said than done though, I'm in the same position as you at 17 years old and I'm trying to find ways to make money right now.
  19. Very well explained, I think There is an equivalent exchange happening here. You can skip years of other spiritual techniques and take psychedelics, which will instantly force upon you years of spiritual work. But, it is possible that your ego will not be able to integrate it because no ego work is required to take a dose of psychedelics.
  20. Self-esteem is just another way of saying self-respect You will actually have more self-respect the more selfless you become (counter-intuitively), because by becoming less identified with ego you will broaden your sense of worth beyond the confines of the ego Self-esteem = confidence in one's own worth or abilities; self-respect. (No need to glorify a false identity to achieve this) Self-esteem != Bragging about your money to everyone. If you truly had self-esteem, there would be no need for bragging in the first place. This is actually just the ego trying to survive through validation from others, whereas true self-esteem means getting validation from yourself rather than from others. Also, notice how in this situation your entire self-worth depends on validation from others through having money, this is how the ego jeopardizes and limits your self-esteem. The real disrespect is confining your self-worth to a limited egoic construct
  21. The entire game of the ego is survival, so yes keeping itself immortal. But immortality is a game it will always lose, the ego will either evolve or perish at some point. Also, it does not have to be literal physical immortality. It only wants itself, as a virtual identity, to be immortal. Maybe that does not involve the actual physical body, but physical immortality may be a popular goal for the ego as it fits in with the self-preservation agenda. Bottom line, ego loves to be attached and prevent impermanence so that it can preserve itself. But, the thing that it wants to preserve does not have to be the physical body.
  22. Hell is the suffering caused by egoic behaviour
