@Shawn Philips  You should actually whatch what happened before judging:

    Watch it: https://www.lemonde.fr/societe/video/2023/06/28/adolescent-tue-par-un-policier-a-nanterre-le-resume-des-evenements_6179582_3224.html

The looting and especially the fires are completely unjustified, but the protest and anger is.

Yes France let in the immigrants. That was their mistake. Some arab countries dealt better with it. If you can not do it just don't do it.

  2. The movie 'Athena' might be interesting regarding the topic.

Caught between his younger brother Karim's (Sami Slimane) desire for revenge and the criminal dealings of his older brother Moktar (Ouassini Embarek), he struggles to calm the rising tensions. As the situation escalates, their community ATHENA is transformed into a fortress under siege, becoming a scene of tragedy for both the family and beyond…

Wouldn't reading third party biographies defeat the purpose of the book as a more direct path to his mind?

@RebornConsciousness Where are you from? I'm asking because I want to know which language you read it in. I live in Germany so I could read it in it's original language, but I'm not sure how much of a difference that would make in terms of coherence.

That's interesting. Did you gather that from reading the book? A lot of times propaganda can happen on a subconscious level too, in the sense that someone can come to a certain belief and then pass that belief on to other people who then keep passing it on to the next generation and so on. At a certain point people are simply holding these beliefs without even knowing who they really got it from originally. So I see that also playing a big part in his psyche.

I did not read all of it. I only read the parts where it is more interesting. I did my Abitur in Germany in history btw we read 'Der Untertan' from Heinrich Mann. It deals with the time period and the mindset. You might have a look into it.

I find it interesting how he wrote about how he found the 'truth'. It is even more interesting how he became a 'debatebro' who challenged jews. He got very frustrated that the jews lost the debate but never accepted that they lost. He then tried to convince the workers. He wrote how difficult it was to convince them.

I'm actually interested in reading the book, because I want to find out more about the psychology of someone like Hitler. The human mind taken to it's extremes is something that I'm curious about, since there is a lot you can learn from observing extremes. Hitlers mind must've been a pretty extreme environment so I'd just like to have an insight into how such a mind works. But I'm not sure if that book is really going to give me a coherent insight into the workings of his mind, or if it's just going to a bunch of mad rambling. Maybe it's going to be interesting either way? Have any of you read that book? Did it help you get a better understanding of Hitler. I'm talking about understanding in relation to his psychology, not his political views per se (though both honestly probably go hand in hand).

Actually I think it is easy to understand his psychology. He explains it himself very well. He was basically a debatebro, anthropologist. So he was very 'conscious' about what is going on in his brain and of others. That is why it was possible that he could use his propaganda effectively.

It's a bit too early for feminism when your neighbour is North Korea, whose population is completely obedient and they can shell your capital city with 10s of thousands of artillery shells during the first few hours of potential conflict. Feminism can only flourish in a peacefull relatively advanced society.

Doesn't seem like those feminists want anything radical though. Just the standard stuff. Maybe banning porn is a bit too much. But hey, looking at Sakura's tits is not necessary for survival, is it

What about a powerful LBTQ army then? Maybe they  may have emphathy for the 'socialist' North and unity will come.

What vice’s slanted documentary does not mention, is the reason young men are turning on feminists there is because the feminist movement there is so extreme as to have alienated them, they actually used to support it. They got porn banned, a large feminist group openly chose a male body shaming sign as their symbol, they’ve changed the laws so that when it comes to sexual harassment you are guilty until proven innocent, etc.

The feminists had a lot of support in government until recently and just became more and more extreme, and never once addressed the anti male sexism such as how only men are forced to perform military service.

Unfortunately the backlash isn’t enough, South Korea’s society is already atomized and hostile to a point where it has one of the worst birth rates in the world, it is too little too late.

the reason feminism is getting deeper and deeper is because of the lack of employment. I don't know if other countries are similar, but the unemployment problem in Korea is getting serious. Women avoid dangerous or physically demanding jobs and prefer high-paying office jobs or large corporations that can work in the metropolitan area. However, these companies are still generally maintaining the military bonus points. People who support feminism are calling for abolition of the military bonus point, but as you know, Korea does not recruit soldiers like the United States. All Korean men should go to the military. The part where they do not have a choice is being compensated with military bonus points, but feminists argue that the military bonus points should be abolished, arguing that conscripting women into the military does not take into account their physical disadvantages.
As a similar example, there is female police officers issue. Unlike the American police officers I see on YouTube, Korean female police officers do not actually do anything at the scene of the incident

@Epikur  This whole situation is negative, I feel like making a diss track and blasting all these people to pieces. This whole Twitch and online cultures, these stream communities and Tik Tok like communities need to get nuked. We reached putrid levels of toxicity that needs purification.

The whole situation is not real. It is non existent in this forum.
It is all in your head

The question boils down to. Did dalai lama cause suffering to the boy or did he show his love and compassion to him? What was the fruit of his actions?

Well of course the media blew up. But leaving that aside. How did the kid felt at the end? Did he felt traumatized, disrespected, abused etc. Or it was all just laughter, giggles, playfulness and mutual continual respect and love for each other till the very end.

There is also something like Stockholm Syndrom. It is all fun and games till you feel the trauma later.

@Jwayne we are spinning in circles again. I already adressed it. There's nothing i can say to make my perspetion more valid then yours. It's just blue glasses world vs red glasses world stuff.

So it is all interpretation? So in your world if the guru has sex with a child out of 'compassion' it is all good?

It's easy to smell a predetor out. It's very manipulative and full of fake compassion and kindness and they are driven by lust all the time.

Genuine love and compassion has a dramaticly different taste and feeling to it.

You can be calm and a predator who does meditation. Easy to fool guys like you.

Shame on you for being too blind and triggered to engage with me, and this issue fully with many bad faith interpretations instead of taking the time to really read what I said. Stop ridding Hasan or Penguinz0's dicks, and the dicks of the online culture and community outrage and outcry of the crybaby online left over a bad joke.

Tempest in a teapot that you're getting your panties bundled over for nothing.

Imagine a guru is doing that to your kid. I guess one should not wonder when he gets his ass kicked.
