  1. The key to transcendental meditation, if you want to do it in the CLASSICAL WAY (but without a teacher) is to pick a mantra that holds no meaning to you.

Then count your breaths for a minute or two and begin repeating the mantra.

First in a controlled fashion for short time (minute or two) and then let it repeat itself freely .

If it is repeating by itself then it will slowly begin repeating less and less, which will quiet your mind, and then you will experience self-transcending.

Btw. If a self-transcending technique makes you feel tired, then stop & switch to samatha meditation.

What @Preety_India described above is nice, but try both, to see which gives you transcendental experiences. A self-transcending technique should give you these experiences either on your first try or after a few tries.

  2. When I need money I usually just watch this video (with headphones, because of the binaural beats)

And get high on weed. I usually have much more orders/gain new clients when I do that

    Or this:

It is not a direct answer, but you can replace weed high with orgasm high and it should work the same.

Only problem is that it is hard to watch and experience orgasm at the same time, therefore I suggest you get some weed or maybe even a stronger psychadelic.

Imo this is such a broad and complex issue it should be discussed on various levels . I understand that it's just a forum and that we should not take it too seriously but still I will raise some of what I believe are valid points that can help create more awareness whether here or in real life

First the level of structure . Modern (green) governments have their structures build on the basis of democracy which means decentralisation of power . The more developed a government is the more decentralised its power is . In Spiral Dynamics the forum moderation is basically stage blue structure where the authority has all the power and the user has almost zero power . Aside from that being a very crude level of moderation on a progressive level in such advanced times, this issue is ignored completely and never even talked about or brought to light like it doesn't even exist and like it's a reality we have to deal with or else we're not welcome. The internet as a structure is basically stage green and it allows for communitys almost of any kind to exist . Forums like this live in the grace of stage green internet environment while they establish whatever environments they want . This is where socialism is being misused by capitalism . A capitalist is allowed to have his own dictatorship within the larger system of socialism . This is normalised like it's just the way life is and supposed to be but in fact its a form of misusing power . To be fair though this is not exclusive to this forum in particular it is more importantly a real life issue . The only two things that helps in the decentralisation here is the report and ignore options, the latter which is limited to normal users, and the former which is dependent on the moderators judgement and biases

Which brings us to the second important point which is the subjectivity of the judgement of the mods and their human biases and possible complexities (aka personal egos). for instance (attachments below) very recently the mod @Max_V has bumped up a dead thread from 7 freaking days ago and locked it with the statement stupid discussion. Here:

    IMG_20201013.jpg

seriously what excuse could this lock possibly have??? Honestly to me it sounds like misusing the moderation privileges with very little awareness and possibly with troubled psychology . While I agree that the thread wasn't insightful at all, to me that still does not justify such power abuse. And to be completely honest it rather looks like someone who got bored and decided to go horsing around discovering their powers possibly as an ego boost. Instead the user could be shown instructions on how to post high quality threads (idea: Leo and mods should make a in depth guide for high quality posting) .

Other examples I have for power abuse is when some mod gets emotional and can't control themselves. I would say that happens on a moderate rate as mods are after all just human beings. I've witnessed this myself in many occasions when a mod is arguing with someone the mod is always right and the user is always closed minded and ignorant. Gaslighting is a common technique I see mods demonstrating as well. Projection as a defence mechanism is usually present too. And for God's sake some mods are like 20 years old or younger I mean wtf man are you serious?

And finally the serious mental issues that some mods have and ignore. I don't want to name names but some mods clearly have mental illnesses such as ocd and intrusive thoughts, some of them have superiority or inferiority complexes, some of them have sadistic tendencies. And these are not things I'm speculating about. These are things said explicitly here by certain mods (they know themselves). But the worst part is that even then, not everything is always said. A lot of things go under the radar and the mods give themselves a pass for ignoring their issues because power is appealing to the ego so they compromise honesty for power and they rather cling to it unjustifiably without being transparent enough to air out their inefficiency in an honest responsible mature manner. Lack of responsibility is a huge indicator of corruption and it should be really discussed instead of getting ignored . thank you for reading and thank you @Martin123 for bringing up the topic I appreciate your courage it inspired me to stand up against what I believe is abuse and corruption

Well, you have to get the mods somewhere. As far as I know, they don't get paid. It is basically charity from their part.

I agree for the most part though.

    Sure go ahead.

Read The Mushin Way to Peak Performance by Michael Veltri and  Right Concentration (a practical guide to the Jhãnas) by Leigh Brasington.

And try doing only "counting breaths" meditation for a few months (1+ hours a day) instead of the more awakening oriented types.

It may sound "too basic" but it is the best type of meditation for performance.

I don't have any special problem with school. It just hinders me from being myself. It's quite sad that I consciously restrain myself from ecstasy all the time in school.

One or two hours a day isn't enough. I am probably ready for what you call "hardcore" practice where I live unreasonably joyfull all the time.

I awakened not long ago. Please give me perspectives from the awakened mind.

    Describe your awakening.

    -

Yeah it is possible that you are ready for hardcore practice (which is 5+ hours a day, if the only kind of practice you know about is meditation) but highly unlikely.

    -

There is way more to it than meditation though, fasting for example helps tremendously, or even general all day mindfulness techniques work way better than you can imagine.

You will achieve way more if you just do one 10+ day retreat every year and incorporate what I said into your daily life than if you become homeless at 17 years old and go meditate 10+ hours under a bridge.

The main reason for that is that you will experience ego backlash.

    -

What you are planning would theoretically work, but there is more to life, you know.

  6. There's no reason why you couldn't do consciousnesses work in your current situation. There's always walking meditation. If you do 1hr of sitting meditation and do "walking"/other-forms-of-waking-meditation for the whole day your consciousnesses will grow WAYY faster than you think. Also try asking "why?" whenever you do something, that automatically raises your consciousnesses too.

There's no doubt you will regret going homeless. If you decide to do it.

Also if you are having problems with school you aren't ready for hardcore practice.

@tsuki yes I do have a fear of being perceived as gay. But it's not even gay, it really boils down to masculinity and man roles. For one sexuality is seen as a one drop rule so if I say I'm bi my identity will be ignored and will be perceived as gay, I will have to always correct people. My interest in women will be ignored. In some ways it is easier to be straight passing and otherwise unseen, because although my true bisexual identity is ignored if I'm perceived as straight also, whether you're seen as bi or gay there will still be stigma and mistreatment, even rejection from loved ones and ofcourse an overall misunderstanding. Nah I'm not hypersexual in a sense that I use sex to avoid my emotions. But I considered myself hyper sexual in a sense that I'm easy to arouse. I see a hot women, I'm turned by her curves and pretty face, I see a bearded muscular man I'm turned on by his physique and seeing that I don't really hear gay men talking about women in that way as well as men or straight men talking about men that way as well as woman I just took it that I must be hypersexual. To like girl butts and guy butts, to think an ass is an ass regardless if it's a guy or girl, no biggie. If people can wrap their mind around homosexuality, why can't they wrap their mind around bisexuality. Throw in the different non vanilla stuff that I'm into I start to think I'm hypersexual or just a very sexual person.

Yeah, maybe avoid telling people in real life, only your sex partners actually need to know.

  8. Jhãnas are a good measure, also cessations.

Jhãnas themselves don't have much to do with enlightenment but they really help and increase your consciousnesses.

The fact that (if) they're accessible to you alone means a lot.

    -

Also writing down your insights is another important aspect. That is probably more towards enlightenment.

    -

    Combined it is pretty intense.

@Michal__ very interesting! Is fasting just increasing your mental clarity and therefore your productivity or also your Drive / Fire / Hunger?

At 11:30 he states that hunger for food made him more hungry for life haha

If you stop overindulging in food or restrict yourself from such dopamine activities your discipline and passion increase naturally. I guess your weekly fast can be compared to a dopamine detox ritual.

    Both :)

    Yeah, it definitely does. :D

  10. Soo...

I have gained new insights/got further solving a similar situation of my own.

Basically, water fasting for one day every week will very likely solve it, both short & long term. (I haven't yet done it long term, but I'm 100% certain it will work).

A prerequisite is 1hr meditation a day, also green & black tea are a serious aid.

This makes me 400% more productive... Quite literally.

  11. For me the most important question to answer is what are the long term effects of the virus.

I've read cases where perfectly healthy elder developed schizophrenia after covid. Also we still don't know for sure what it does to lungs long term.

Short term covid is perfectly safe in my opinion.

It is a really complex problem.

Nah honestly I'm glad it works for you guys and I'm not even saying it doesn't work, for me like I said it worked, I just don't see the link of what you attribute it to and I don't get why you're so certain it's that. My perspective is always I don't really know and it would be a leap to say I know anything outside of my direct experience. But if you're honestly saying you've had direct experience and the only way to explain the happenings is magic then it's not really for me to dispute that. If you're deluded hopefully you see clearly and if I'm not seeing what is real, which is magic, then I honestly hope I do see that as it want to know and feel what is real.

I will give you a concrete example cos I was kinda into the LOA a bit, years ago. But I wrote down a few things that I wanted, one was an audi a3 specifically amongst others things. I stopped thinking about it and just put it to the side and set the intention, I completely forgot that I wrote the list. Cut to about 3 years later I found the list and a lot of things had come true including the audi which was now parked in front of my place. Now did magic from my thoughts cause this to happen or did I plant this in my sub-conscious and then when I had enough money I bought the car, who knows, maybe its kinda the same thing. But from my perspective it felt like I set it in my mind that it was possible and then it happened, if I didn't think it was possible it prob wouldn't have happened, I don't feel like I experienced magic, but maybe I'm not conscious enough to feel it or maybe mine was due to thinking and some peoples are due to magic or maybe magics a way to explain this occurance. ??‍♂️ I still think the principles are valuable to have either way

Well, I am happy you got the Audi ;).
