  1. I feel you. I started getting into it myself around 6 months ago, I started gradually but then got a little impatient and just dove in for about two weeks, doing all sorts of breathing, stretching, chanting, meditative and visualization exercises, which led to many insights, awakenings and heavy energy-releases, but eventually the energy was just too much to handle, to maintain it I would have to change my life so drastically, which is possible but, of course, potentially dangerous. So I ended up choosing stop there and go back to a more gradual approach.
  2. I've had pretty much the exact same experience my last LSD trip about 2 weeks ago, just like you, I could barely believe it, despite just how real it felt.
  3. What do you think? Is there a huge difference, a moderate difference or do you think the dark night of the soul is just a new-age term for depression? I don't really have a stance on this, I'm just curious.
  4. Good point Pretty sure I don't have any of those, unless they're just lazy as hell and/or have a sick sense of humor In my case all of these points were relevant, resistance to a paradigm shift, trauma, chemical imbalance (recovery from drug abuse), health and nutritional deficiencies (also related to substance abuse). I'm consistently feeling pretty good now, and it's a steady upward spiral, but there's still work to do. Btw, awesome profile picture Not sure exactly what you mean by the swapna, sushupti and jakrat part, but I can definitely relate with the reasonless feeling of stagnation and not being enough as I am, but that feeling is of course connected to a knowing that I wasn't living up to my potential. Thanks for the replies ya'll, appreciate it
  5. Don't think too much about what you're going to do during the trip, rather focus on making sure the set & setting are right, so clean your room/house, eat healthy, hydrate, sleep well, exercise etc, then just go with the flow, follow your heart and your intuition, and if you still feel confused and/or lost, come ask for advice
  6. I'm lost for words. Hooooly shit..... this is beyond anything I could have possibly forseen. I am but a humble student.
  7. @Nahm Yeah, attaching to it won't do me any good, just keep doing the work. Chop wood, carry water (Not claiming I'm enlightened btw lol)
  8. @Madhur Depends on how big your balls are I guess. How much of your own shadow can you be aware of before going mad? How much of yourself do you repress to maintain the "me" you're afraid that something will happen to? Time will tell I guess.
  9. @alchemizt 150ug LSD, nothing too crazy I thought, boy was I wrong. @Inliytened1 How the hell do I integrate this? I just watched my face in the mirror wither away, rot, disappear, a new face appear, again and again, reality itself turned into itself, merged with itself, until there were literally just eyes appearing in my vision, looking at me, looking at themselves... I don't even know how to articulate it. At one moment if I concentrated enough, I could feel an "invitation", a "road" of some sorts, that if I went far enough, there'd be no guarantee I'd ever return to my physical body... whatever that is, if it's even real, I truly don't know...
  10. Nice, one step closer to my hot alien witch girlfriend
  11. @XeRnOg "When we repress a feeling, it is because there is so much guilt and fear over the feeling that it is not even consciously felt at all. It becomes instantly thrust into the unconscious as soon as it threatens to emerge. The repressed feeling is then handled in a variety of ways to ensure that it stays repressed and out of awareness. Of these mechanisms used by the mind to keep the feeling repressed, denial and projection are perhaps the best-known methods, as they tend to go together and reinforce each other. Denial results in major emotional and maturational blocks. It is usually accompanied by the mechanism of projection. Because of guilt and fear, we repress they impulse or feeling, and we deny its presence within us. Instead of feeling it, we project it onto the world and those around us. We experience the feeling as if it belonged to "them". "They" then become the enemy, and the mind searches for and finds justification to reinforce the projection. Blame is placed on people, places, institutions, food, climatic conditions, astrological events, social groups, political rivals, and other things outside of ourselves. Projection is the main mechanism in use by the world today. It accounts for all wars, strife and civil disorder. Hating the enemy is even encouraged in order to become a "good citizen." we maintain our own self-esteem at the expense of others and, eventually, this results in social breakdown. The mechanism of projection underlies all attack, violence, aggression, and every form of social destruction". - This is taken from "Letting Go, the pathway of surrender" By David R. Hawkins. I'm sure you won't be able to see it now, but I hope you can realize this in yourself and move past it one day. Good luck.
  12. Man, you have a lot of repressed anger... You may want to work on that. Why? Think of it like bad breath, you may have amazing knowledge to share or wonderful things to say, but if your breath smells like shit, people will either point it out to you, or simply avoid you.
  13. This is a sort of an experiment, I haven't planned out this trip much, since I just got some shrooms from a friend at work yesterday, and today I don't have work and I feel pretty good, I'm not really a spontaneous person but I think it's time to shake it up a little and I think this will go well I only got 4g now though, so I just ate 1g and see how I feel and then decide how much more I want to take. I admit I'm a bit anxious because last time I did any psychedelic was 1 year ago and it was Ayahuasca. But I have taken shrooms up to 6g before and 200ug LSD, but I feel this time will be different, I feel an awakening just around the corner.
  14. Hehe I just did, thanks for the recommendation I'll check it out I'm already feeling noticeable effects, I've been fasted for about 12 hours now, also just had some turmeric/black pepper tee which adds to my receptiveness/sensitivity. My whole body is tingling with energy... aliveness... oh boy this is going to be fun
  15. @Hello from Russia He probably had to adopt those beliefs at a young age to fit into a close social circle like your family, which can very easily feel like life or death for at a young age because you're so vulnerable. A lot of parents, family members, friends and social circles indoctrinate their people with their beliefs and worldview, either consciously or unconsciously. Maybe it's not the case here, but it's a normal pattern across all cultures, I wouldn't label anyone "stupid" so quickly just because they have a silly belief or live in an out-dated paradigm, because I realize the same thing could have happened to me.
  16. @Michael569 This is nice, thanks
  17. Being on the computer at night is especially bad for you, ESPECIALLY if you don't some proper blue light app or protection, it will mess up your circadian rhythm and delay melatonin production which is a crucial sleep hormone. Just wanted to throw that out there
  18. Great share, after 2 minutes of listening to this, I have to say it comes at a perfect timing (Well, could have been a little sooner honestly lmao)
  19. Or for people who had a rougher journey through life than you mate.
  20. @pluto8 Pluto's not a planet
  21. @Nahm If not knowing, what then?
  22. What's beyond being a sage?
  23. @IJB063 To be honest, I don't bother. Sorry, I'm being selfish.
