During part of my high school, I was in America, and had my share of bullies even there. Almost anywhere you go, you will encounter them. @Magnanimous Have you watched all his videos and followed Leo for 5 years? in his old video about spirituality, and limits of rationality, he said he was an atheist and rationalist and skeptic. Leo isn't religious at all, so of course a soul doesn't exist for him. However, I'm partly Christian and protestant, so a soul does exist to me. It really depends on who you are, your psyche and development stages you go through.

@DocWatts I have a feeling this problem will persist past our lifetime, heck maybe 4 generations go by and still gun control problems. At this point, if no democratic and political solution works to control and regulate gun supply and ownership, then we have to consider martial law, if mass shootings and gun terrorism stilll keep happening and is slowly on the rise. Of course, if the government implemented martial law, the public is gonna cry out state control or facism or the next civil war, but what other way is there? Soft forms of programming like ads showcasing the harm of guns in public? A what if your child plays a gun thinking it's a toy? Economic sanctions on gun businesses? Double down on ideological and political narrative warfare? Teach gun control in the education system? It's a deep, tricky issue with no clear scope and risk free solutions.

@caesar13 No, right sub-forum to post topics related to jobs, careers, life purpose. It's not a smart thing to do. Ideally, I'd keep personal stuff out of businesses and jobs. If you really have to include personal software or stuff in a company space, then something went wrong with how you're managing work and personal things. 'Don't eat and shit at the exact same place', quote from a drug cartel leader.

@abundance Probably. There's treating the real issue, and then there's thinking and concepts that make you negative. Big difference. I think that's that. Nothing prescriptive addressed here, other than noticing the worry the concepts are causing you first before following it up with actions.

@Yarco I've had my mission statement for roughly 7+ years, and seen little improvements and accomplished only a few small goals, but I never was aware about a domain of mastery and ideal medium to include into my list, so am definitely going to change my list a bit, from the ground up. Am also gonna retake the LP, and get more details out from my visions of my life. If I have to dream walk into parallel universes to find out, so be it. Very nice looking mission statement, thanks for sharing!

@jd1279 I guess it's a worry of America being gradually becoming a fascist nation, which is a low probability. Also, Leo is living in America, while some of us here live outside of it, so we can talk and take different sides because if we don't live in a country where this issue isn't felt directly, we don't appreciate the danger of this ideology taking root.

@Realms of Wonder Nice and simple looking mission statement, I like it. Can't figure out how a person can just perform live on stage in front of hundreds if not thousands of people, and play an instrument. I had a piano and guitar, and despite my musical ears I couldn't bring myself to play live, never mind play them as a hobby. How do you perform live and practice daily?
