Self-esteem can only rise as high as vulnerability runs deep.

You can't undo what happened to you, but you can undo the imprints you carry in your psyche and body. For sure. Heard about primal therapy? That would be totally awesome to take care of that unfinished business with your father... Also, MDMA (when done right) is amazing. Don't give up hope. You're so young. It took me many years of trial and error as well until I found what worked for me. Big hug!

Story of my life Have you done Leo's LP course? He talks about the idea of "small bets" in there. Just trying some project out for a couple of months, to see whether you like it, like the medium, like the process, etc. Then you go on.
So you could do a writing class, a dancing class,... And just see how you like it. You'll refine your way as you go.
I've basically been doing small bets for the last 3 years. I've taken shots at writing a newsletter, gardening, composing, interior design, research, coaching, video making, etc.
The only way to find your thing is by just starting and doing something.
Life will guide you aright.
Also, the most interesting new domains are at the intersection of 2 or more of your interests. There are many actors. But how many actors are there with a solid understanding of political theory?

Good points! I enjoyed your post. Reminded me of Big Magic, then I saw you actually read it How I see it: When you're focused on creating what you want to create, there's not even time to think about what other people are doing.

The poetry
Inside of me
Is warm like a gun -
Here it is
Waacking, by the way, started in underground gay clubs in the 1970s and further spread in LGBT clubs. Poor Latino and Asian gay men, who had to hide their homosexuality in public, expressed themselves to funk music and found freedom in their expression. It has elements of punking, voguing, popping and locking.
For me, Waacking is about expressing yourself is any way you want. We're all girls with different lives. We're programmers, teachers, students, waitresses,... But once a week we get together and go wild. We let our femininity out. We support each other in our individuality. And we slip into any role we like to further find out who we are. I really, really love this.

Give Radical Honesty by Brad Blanton a read, or visit a workshop. They teach you about the difference between Radical Honesty and Brutal Honesty.
In short:
- Make it about yourself (Non-violent communication)
- Stay true to the facts, to what actually happened
- Be aware that the rest is stories in your head, share it as such

Great beast of water, soft and near
I lay down, to listen, to forget, to see:
Your simplicity reigns the highest tier
And demystifies all life for me
