When you live in Israel for 36 years you can't be in a "bubble" about it. Sorry to dissapoint but anyone who get over the years its information second hand and by people/channels who are even not Israelis by themselves has far more chances to mistakes and seeing a distorted picture 🙂

Red is indeed a genius in using Green's weaknesses against him and by that making him to appear falsely as "red". Quite frustrating.

@zazen Again I agree on problems and can discuss on them with an open mind.
But In the big picture there is here an overreaction of the immune system in its fight against the highly sophisticated hamas virus.
Nothing will change that.
Let it sink a little bit.
Agree or not, everything is OK you have the right to hold your opinion.
My opinion won't change, not about the big picture.

Damage = material damage.

24000 (~10,000 of them are hamas combatants) are the result of Israel's attacks on hamas and hamas's fortifications, combined with hamas's interest and constant efforts from day one to maximize civilians casualties as much as it can because this is their life's job in this war, because they know this is the only thing that can stop Israel from eliminating them.

3 hours ago, Lila9 said:This is the freedom fighters that you hype. Terrorists are terrorists, not only dangerous to others, but also to their own people.
But hamas are angels freedom fighters that throw gays from rooftops that treatens their freedom, rape women for the freedom of sexuality and executed hundreds of PLO people to ensure their freedom in Gaza.

Then you support a total collapse of Israel western values that will turn backwards women rights by centuries and maybe also will lead to the execution of LGBTQ.
Ok. That is your opinion.

As long as you do this comparison you should not expect a willingness to discuss from any Israeli or a reasonable person here that I hope they won't fall into this trap.

Do you mean Nazi germany.

Notice that in your view, all the people you consider "bad" (Zionists) were cooperating with the Nazis while the people you consider to be "good" (non-Zionists) were the victims of Nazis, this is a polished story to fit your narrative.
I think that Japan were co-operating with US in WW2 and the atomic bomb was just a distruction from the REAL co-operation that we couldn't see because of the destruction

I saw most of the six hour talks in hugue. Israel's explanations were very grounded to me succeeded easily to hold a stable healthy wide context to its claims.
In the other hand the accusation was based on fragments of claims that can indicate problems, but can never compose the puzzle to make their accusation plausible.
This is my impression I wrote here yesterday.

Only Israel can be accused freely without asking for proofs

The problem is that hamas takes as much as humanitarian aid to itself, and given hamas interest to maximize the casualties and the humanitarian crisis, it for sure plays a main role in this crisis.
100-200 trucks with humanitarian aid cross the border to Gaza every day.
Probably the need is higher and I hope the number will rise as a result of that.

The comparison to nazis is not worth a serious relation.
It indicates nothing more than a total ignorance. Like to compare between the sun and chocolate. What is the connection? I don't know.
About the video, as I said before it is very far from the truth of Israel society.
For the analogy I can also take a video of another and extreme case of, say, murder of women by their husbands in Toronto (happens sometimes all across the world) and say that this is Canada.

Thanks. Good night.

@Nabd I appreciate your nuanced view. Only one crazy out of many is fair enough analogy.
But I can't agree to the accusation being discussed last week. This is totally ridiculous.

If you want we can discuss problems. But the game of "genocide" I won't play.
And now I really must go to sleep.

@kenwayI understand you were hurted from what I said.
If I was wrong I am apologize and take my claim about your intention back.
Don't take it personally. I feel an enormous hypocricy and dehumanization from the discussion here about Israel many times, and it might be that you just don't see this and that you acted from good intentions.
So please just stay with what I wrote about the video (minus the relation to you which I erase now from the discussion and from the message).
Have a good night. Here it is night anyway.

@Happy Lizard The video is light years away from daily Israel.
But I don't want to force anybody to think in some way or another or to see beyond his or her heavy filters.
I live here 36 years and the degree this is so far from average Israel was the reason I laughed so hard, from the absurdity 🙂
Your Idea is good and I will definitly do it. Thank you for your sincere desire to know and that you are open. I appreciate this.

I tried to think on a serious answer but I see no point and really couldnt find one. I cant relate to that seriously.
If you can't see or admit the problem to yourself then OK. Keep in your way and do not disturb yourself.

@Merkabah Star I understand the situation in Gaza hurts you and you are right it that! But blame hamas on that because he has at the very least 90% of the responsibility and likely even 95%+.
Thats the truth according to my impression. You can think something else and I really don't want to just argue with you.
But I wonder, where was the world before the war, when one Million of poor kids where brainwashed every single day by their education system into the importance of killing others along with the importance of suicide in the name of their religion?
