  1. What is coolness? What is cool? Can you actually experience coolness in actuality/direct experience/sensations? It may be that the idea of "being" cool is just pure thinking/thoughts/perception/projection Is "coolness" actually a feeling/emotion? It may be that the thinking/perception of coolness leads to certain emotions. Perhaps feelings of esteem (due to thinking of yourself as worthy) feelings of satisfaction (due to fitting into the, somewhat arbitrary, mental projections and assessments of coolness that you defined as being good) I would say yes. Who else is "cool"? Egos are "cool" Although, I guess events, places, ideas, and other things not really considered egos could be "cool" as well.
  2. @nitramadas Are there more advanced forums? My PMs are open
  3. I doubt this nigga is fucking anything

  5. @levani Oh yeah I remember that Where / who else? (Not asserting anything) What is your purpose / motivation / reason for meditation?
  6. Haha is your ego looking for a reason to quit? Who told you this? Where did you hear this from?
  7. What will happen if you tell him? What will happen if you don't tell him? What do you mean by "right"?
  8. Money (Income, Salary) Skill (Strength, Caliber, Capabilities, Ability, Experience) Aptitude (Potential, Talent, Strengths) Impact (Altruism, Contribution) Interest (Passion, "Enjoyment", Creativity, Exploration, Adventure) Meaning (Challenge, Growth, Flow, Fun) Opportunities (Entrepreneurship, Business, Invention, Innovation, Impact) Flexibility (Ability to switch into different fields, pivotability, pivot ability) Value (Scarcity, High Value, Low Availability, No/Low Abundance, Unique, Rarity) High Demand, Popularity (Popular enough that it is a valid field but not popular enough that it is mediocore, unrare, overly abundant and unscarce, low value) Exclusivity (Lack of ability to self-learn, hardness in breaking into the field with no credentials) Difficulty (ROI, Return on Investment, ROE, Return on effort) This seems to be a solid list of criteria. However there could be more not considered here. As you can see, it can be argued there are impersonal / "objective" criterias aswell as personal / "subjective" criterias What you love --> Interest, Passion What the world needs --> Impact, Meaning What you can be paid for ---> Money What you are good at ---> Aptitude, Skill Related to Japanese concept of Ikigai So you could take all the majors (the ones you are interested in or even every single major) and assess them based on this (and any other) criteria. Research and significant thinking / contemplation will be required for alot of them (like demand, money, even impact, etc.) I might edit this later as not finished and cant do shit on the phone. Why are you going to college? This may be (and probably is) the best choice for you but more information would be needed.
  9. @lmfao Don't be closeminded Reality is infinite and contains everything. All of this exists somewhere.
  10. @traveler Major L Don't do it unless you already feel high self-esteem, emotionally ok, grounded. External changes won't change internal problems --> these problems will remain. If after you solve the internal problems, you still feel a desire for this surgery then go ahead. (Hint: All problems are internal, literally they are thoughts/imagination - All you really have is sensations/feelings + thoughts/imaginations that is all that exist, check it for yourself) Research what people feel after plastic surgery. internal problems CANNOT be fixed by external changes (and at the end of the day all problems are internal, there are more nuances to this but basically this is the case) If your negative feelings or self-esteem issues are satisfied (basically gone) and you want to do surgery for strategic advantages, like attraction (sexually/romantically), charisma (career advantages, friendship advantages, etc.) then maybe then you can do it. Even then there are a plethora of social ski------------------------------- Bruh who the fuck bumped this post. Just spent all my time writing this shit for some old ass post from 2019. @traveler Can we get an update though
  11. I feel afraid of manifesting/materializing suffering, immense suffering, hell realms, realms of infinite suffering, possibly even being trapped while in the phase (astral projecting, lucid dreaming, etc.). As many know, in the phase, you can basically do anything like learning, growing, awakening (probably), flying, teleporting, and much much much much more. So considering that I could create, accidentally create (or for some reason want to create) immense levels of suffering (and possibly trap myself) in the phase I've developed a fear (or a caution) for entering the phase. I don't want to accidentally materialize myself getting eaten by a shark, being tortured in some hell realm, or some other far worse (or infinitely worse) scenario/experience out in absolute infinity. @Spiral Wizard @GreenWoods @seeking_brilliance (Tagging because you all seem to be knowledgeable about this) - Others feel free to contribute Is this all possible? (I'm pretty confident at least some of it is, why wouldn't it be? Just to please egos? lmaooo) Is there a real threat/possibility of suffering, high levels of suffering while astral projecting (including OBES, Lucid dreams, etc. -- more simply named the Phase by Michael Raduga)? How do you avoid/eliminate this occurrence? How much control do you generally have in the phase? Can you exit out at any time? Could you exit out or have some way to protect yourself from this? Is it even safe enough to enter the phase / astral project? Please share your thoughts, insights, and perspectives. (But please don't speak much about shit you don't know much about)
  12. What are some good words for the distinctions of Actuality vs. Thought/Imagination Being Mindful, Aware of actuality, the actuality of thought/imagination vs. Being sucked into the content of thought/imagination So what goes into Actuality Vs. ____________ ____________ Vs. ______________ Like clear, one-worded (ideally), representative, best distinction for each side of the vs. Also, is thought/imagination actuality when your dealing with the direct actuality (like mental feel, mental see) of the sensation rather than its contents? Or is only the "non-mental" part of experience, actuality?
  13. How was the experience? How did it feel? Was the suffering infinite? What if it was a higher infinity (that maximal suffering * infinity, or that maximal suffering ^ infinity, or (that maximal suffering ^ infinity) ^ infinity) Are you saying that the ego instantly dies when up against those higher levels of suffering? Does this ego death nullify the suffering? How does this freedom from suffering "feel"? Is it just that there is complete detachment to whether it is rainbows and butterflies or not? Wouldn't you have trauma, PTSD, etc? What about if the ego doesn't die? What if it happens for an eternity? Interesting - I feel like that's a lead. Could you elaborate? Ok wow. I'm curious about your story. Your one eccentric and interesting motherfucker
  14. https://obe4u.com/study/practical-guidebook/ Someone create a resource thread Edit: Change the thread title maybe?
  15. @PlasmicProjection Interesting and informative, thanks for sharing. I would like to hear your perspectives on some of the responses and counters.
  16. @The0Self Oh ok I see So no matter how far a person realizes consciousness, however far someone can awaken, or however infinite someone's consciousness can grow, that absolutely infinite stage of consciousness is right here. Right now.
