There is only Being. Check out Leo's video "What is Perception" But it can be discovered directly by being Being. Or rather, becoming directly conscious that you are Being. (The two statements mean the same thing) That's when the real mindfuck happens.

@LoveandPurpose i would recommend the booklist. As well as listen to Leo's videos. I also would recommend a company called the Great Courses where you can listen or watch college grade lectures on all of these topics (science being one of my favorites) from highly respected and very talented professors. I love their course selection. For spirituality and personal development you won't find anything deeper than Leo's material. Even the great courses don't have courses that go that deep into consciousness as the nature of reality. But their philosophical courses are really good nonetheless and sometimes point at consciousness being the nature of reality though most professors stay away from it as they are in the materialist paradigm. I'm not disrespecting the dude who passed. But awakening provides infinite intelligence. It doesn't fix your egoic issues but it provides you with enough consciousness to overcome them. Now I'm saying awakening by any means possible. Meditation, pyschedelics and the like.

Actually i think if done in the right mindset, maturity, and proper build up, you would enter God Consciousness anyway. And that is where the realizations occur. Your finite consciousness isn't affected at all. The ego probably won't be very happy apon its return though :)? But if done enough times you become a psychonaut and the ego actually gets used to dying. No more backlash.

@Derek White you handled yourself extremely well throughout the entire thread. Frankly I'm impressed. @Raptorsin7. You have the passion to teach and grow others - that is clearly shining through. Yet as you mentioned you are still learning the best ways to do this and it is evident in your posts and apology to @Derek White. My advice would be to lead with a light hand. Indeed...notice the definition...its a religious movement. To me that smells of a belief and not actuality. Actuality is isness itself and awakening through the collapse of the self via mysticism. Not through the ego realizing it. Once that happens you as the Godhead tap into Infinite intelligence and get a full hit on what reality is fundamentally. Thus these types of traps would be a non-issue! Im not saying that some neo-advaita teachers aren't fully awake but it really makes me suspicious......

@Llight i was the biggest atheist and materialist you could ever know. Probably more than you. I literally stumbled on spirituality while looking to beat an addiction. So when i discovered it was the real deal i was shocked and stunned. Take that for what its worth.
