The value passion: Isn‘t the whole point of the LPC to discover your passion? It seems self-evident to put that in, but I don‘t want one slot to be wasted.

Will the (spiritual) evolution of our species happen at its own pace or do we have a signficant control over the pace of it? A lot of theory on how to create less suffering on this planet is available, yet it doesn‘t change most people. How can we implement (a few of) actualized.org‘s concepts on a broad scale? Do they have to be taught in school? But that won‘t be allowed because the people controlling it don‘t value the teachings, creating vicious circle. Does change happen one individual at a time, at a slow pace in its own speed or can we speed up that process? Are personalties like Gandhi or MLK needed? But have those really changed the people opposite of their views?

@Leo Gura Will that change happen inevitably or will we have to fight(/move) towards that? Can we know how that future will look like?

What is self-taught philosophy? How is it not parroting dead men?

In the third movie Indiana is in the search for the holy grail which promises eternal life. There are three traps, three thresholds he has to surpass. He has hints how to achieve that: First, he was told to 'show humility before God', so he kneels on the ground, dodging blades cutting off his head in the last moment. I want to learn to think independently. I want to learn about the structures in my mind that keep me from doing that and how to efficiently think for myself.

@bejapuskas @Leo Gura Yes, I realize the absurdity I think I'm a bit confused, because I subconsciously held the assumption that thinking for yourself means developing original ideas. And because I look at the world through different lenses that don't really stem from myself but from other authorities, I thought that I failed at thinking for myself. Is it normal to not really have (a lot) ,original' ideas?

I want to know more about this subject, but from resources beside Leo's videos. Thank you! (I have the book list, but there aren't any on it if I'm correct, right?)

How do you differenciate between what's really authentic and what's not?

Of course it's different for everyone, but I want to know some experiences of others, so I can maybe change my expectations and strengthen my patience.

I'm in my first relationship since about 2 months, being 20 years old. Since the beginning something is nagging me: I don't find her extremly beautiful and I find other girls prettier. Yet, I absolutely love her personality. She's perfect in that way. But since I feel like I'm a perfectionist I also want my girlfriend to be very pretty. @Leo Gura said in his video "Why men cheat" that looks are the most important thing for men and the personality is just the cherry on top. That made me feel very depressed because I felt like I would lose her because of some lack of attraction (only her face, I love her body), something outside of my control. Is what Leo said true? Can I save my realtionship? I really want to because i feel like it's just my ego wanting perfectionism and deep down I genuinely love her.

@Keyhole While there can be difficulties with relationships, I found it to be one of the most rewarding times in my life so far. It is very beautiful, but nothing can be perfect. I don't know why do decided that, but maybe second guess yourself there. Also look out for confirmation bias.

Hey @Emerald! And there is usually an uncanny level of mirroring happening, in way of both positives and negatives. Is mirroring just having the same characteristics, personality traits and bevaviors or is there more to it? Are people attract to similarties, complemenatry opposites or a mix of both?

(context: A woman who wants a knight in shining armor to whisk her away wants that because she doesn't want to have to do the work herself or accept that she has the power to do it.)

I only had one sexual partner before that relationship, a friend with benefits. How real and important is this issue of having sexual experiences with different people and is it possible to let that go?
