  1. I know this is just a play of words but it's funny this is why ACIM says; Saying that the Universe is God is limiting hahaha BTW I used to admire this man so much when I was a evangelical teen. feels like a past life is insane.
  2. The fact that I could only date people of the same religion, I was actually a teen group leader of a protestant church and was raised as a hardcore christian, but seen everyone as sinful and not trustworthy if they're not christian really started to feel painful. ACIM really resonated with me for that reason. since its aimed mostly to ex-christian.
  3. @DefinitelyNotARobot I also could see what color was each question but theres no fun in choosing what you want to be instead of what really resonates with you IMO. I totally understand why you are saying this, but also I didn't post this test With the intention that the OP takes it and says ”Ok, this test said so, so now I'm confident that I'm 100% stage xxx” It's more like a fun experiment. Just like the MBTI test. I don't think the majority of people here have such a dense ego that they'll choose higher answers just to brag to other members (?) I'm aware that this is my projection on the quality of people in this forum so I'm not sure about that tho.
  4. Which one is it? I think this test is not so bad. but also I don't think your results should differ from what stage you think you are as Leo said.
  5. I already knew what stage I was at but tried a test just to answer your question and this was quite accurate. although not very detailed. https://sdtest.me/ this is my result btw Edit;looking at the result made me realize I'm a really average Actualize.org listener lol
  6. I’m Japanese and people have been wearing masks everyday (not all of them ofc) probably since masks were created. No one talks in trains( kind of cultural politeness) so,adding that people wear masks everyday even before Covid makes it quite safe to use public transportation. Personal space is extremely respected since before Covid, so social distance comes naturally. There's no group of people who think Covid isn't deadly or a conspiracy theory (or at least they never come to mainstream media, Japanese people are to self-aware to go against what's accepted as a social norm, also I don't think any media would give space to such a message. the funny thing is that I've searched about it on Japanese sites and I've haven't found a single site of Japanese people saying that they believe it is not real or not dangerous) If going anywhere without a mask, 99% of the people will subtly look at you like a crazy person no matter what region you live in (Japanese people are very sensitive to not be accepted by their own so this is truly painful, thus not hard to stay at home or wear masks or social distancing ). In conclusion, how people lived here before Covid and how the culture is helps a great deal to prevent virus expansion. This is all from the POV of a citizen, ofc the government is also working hard. A funny note is that one common criticism from the people is that the government is still not quick and strict enough in preventing or punishing the minority of people who still travel through prefectures lol
  7. I just say “No they haven’t done anything” and let it go until I don’t feel anything about it or remember that it doesn’t help to think about it cause thinking doesn’t help. but don’t get me wrong, even with the same person I have to do it many many times until I settle down. sometimes its just one time, sometimes are like 30 times of doing this. Still this works wonders. its called true forgiveness.
  8. “There is nothing outside you. That is what you must ultimately learn, for it is the realization that the Kingdom of Heaven is restored to you. For God created only this, and He did not depart from it nor leave it separate from Himself. The Kingdom of Heaven is the dwelling place of the Son of God, who left not his Father and dwells not apart from Him. Heaven is not a place nor a condition. It is merely an awareness of perfect Oneness, and the knowledge that there is nothing else; nothing outside this Oneness, and nothing else within.” From ACIM textbook. I was reading the textbook and these lines resonated quite strongly with me since Leo has been saying the same thing for almost two years now. I finished all the lessons of the Workbook last year (took me from 2018 to 2019), And have 2 questions to @Leo Gura just out of curiosity. 1.Did you worked the 356 lessons each day by day as it tells to do or did you just read through them? (this is not very important since no one does all of them perfectly anyway) 2.The Course says that forgiveness is one of the fastest way to undo the ego since you start seen everybody as sinless brothers in God, The child of God and ultimately God itself ( whom is of course myself), what are your thoughts on the method of true forgiveness? Have you tried it? I know it is nowhere near 5-Meo(which I really want to experience some day), but personally I’ve had tremendous experiences with true forgiveness and it has come to a point now that it is my second nature, the second I feel unsettled about anything my mind goes directly into forgiveness mode, which has been really like ‘floating 3 inches off the ground’ I know every path is just a matter of preference, and this is what has worked for me, but since Leo has done the course just wanted to know about those 2 things. Thanks, Love you all!!
  9. @Bill W ACIM basically says that there's a God head (as Leo calls it) which is the Only thing that exist. At some point, a side of this God head (called the Son) had a tiny idea of "what would happen if I separate from the whole?" The answer to that question was a dream in which the big bang the ego and everything you see was born. inside this dream the Son forgot that it was God itself and identified himself with the ego, causing horrible fear and suffering. but none of this really happened, it is all a dream, and You the Son are still the God head and on God in perfect oneness (or Non Duality). ACIM is here to wake you up from this dream.
  10. Hi, I’ve been watching a very interesting series by BBC called Years and Years. here’s the plot On one crucial night in 2019, the story of a middle class British family accelerates into the future (5 - 15 years), following the lives and loves of the Lyons over the next 15 years as Britain is rocked by unstable political, economic and technological advances. A minor spoiler, in the first episode Trump drops a atomic bomb in Vietnam and wreaked havoc. I’ve been enjoying the series so much because of Leo’s conscious politics mini series. If you liked that mini series give this a chance. And if you already watched it let me know how you felt about that very plausible future.
  11. Much thanks to everyone who reponded! @legendary If you are ok with the Christian language of the book yes I recommend ^ ^
  12. Hello everyone, I’m glad that Leo is back! These days I been really thinking about solipsism and wanted to know what you think about it. Assuming that Leo is not believing but experienced Solipsism and teaches us about it, what are your views on it? Do you just take it for greanted, or theres doubts about it in you? For me, I’ve had really crazy experiences on how just changing my mind had changed my perception on reallity or the “outside world” and even how “people” change their behaviour around me. I’ve been studying ACIM for a long time now, and can see how it really changes the sorroundings, so just a simple question. Hope you’re having a great day thank you.
  13. @creede Actually yes, It helps me to deal with difficult moments in life. My perception of things has changed very much.
  14. I’ve read the text three times and today I’m in lesson 177.
