  1. The book just goes to the deep end faster. It's structured in such a way for reader to get the concept of "distinction". I'm still working through it again the second time, read and reread, stop and contemplate some of the pointers. Very good. To me, much better book than The Book of Not Knowing.
  2. @Ar_Senses I don't really have any thoughts about it, Arsen. I enjoy reading your experience and insights. As with any intense and profound experience, the integration into daily life is what makes a difference in this human story. I'm more curious and interested in learning how you evolve and your life unfold, based on this experience that not many people are privileged to have in their lifetime. From my personal experience, the toughest thing I've done was Ayahuasca in Peru in 2015. I'm still integrating and learning lessons from those ceremonies. I feel I'm ready now for 5MEO, but haven't had the good fortune to find a source yet. I'll be patient and trust that I'll have the experience when the timing is right. Please continue sharing your insights. I enjoy reading them.
  3. IMHO, a much better book than The Book of Not Knowing, it's what I was hoping for in the first book. I find a lot of what Leo was talking about in his recent video about Context, Content, and Understanding Recontextualization from this book. I'm inspired to re-listen to it once I finished. I also got this new Dialogue Book that I'm working through slower.
  4. @Outer Martin himself posted the sound clip which is included in the original post... it was very intense.
  5. True. Martin Ball and Octavio Rettig probably the most well known figures in the 5MEO community beside yourself, Leo. Seems like being awakened to the Absolute Truth includes also human dramas and nuances?
  6. "Substantiated in the form of video and eye-witness testimonies: Physical assault in the form of kicking or slapping Non-consensual administration of additional psychedelics during sessions Unexpectedly electrically shocking participants into a standing position Misogynistic bullying in an attempt to coerce participants into accepting additional doses of 5-MeO Pouring water down the nose or throat of otherwise unconscious participants Unexpectedly blocking the airways of participants for over 15 seconds. Unsubstantiated rumors or accusations: Unsolicited or inappropriate physical contact while under the influence (most reports are of kissing and touching) Involved in the death of at least three individuals during sessions directed and lead by Octavio. Two elderly gentlemen who died officially of heart complications, and one 26-year-old woman Ana Patricia Arredondo whose body wasn't recovered until six days of search and rescue. Severe psychological trauma from sessions which result in long-term depression and suicide." http://psillyrabbits.com/podcastblog-archives-1/2018/5/27/exploring-psychedelics-2018-reviewing-zealotry-and-apologetics-within-the-field-of-psychedelics-2lyt5

  8. Miss you, @Leo Gura! Welcome back. Hope you accomplished what you've set out to do, and even more!
  9. I can follow almost everything he said in first book, until the last 3 Chapters is when it gets difficult, and I'm still working through them. I think just those 3 chapters are worth the price of the book.
  10. Thank you, @now is forever, for your pointers.
  11. @now is forever I want Enlightenment because I'm curious how all these people claim to have gotten and I still don't. I feel I'm missing out on this exclusive understanding that they have. It's also very frustrating to me that they seem to say things in riddles and contradiction. I imagine the "enlightened ones" sometimes are always laughing at and look down on us, when we sincerely ask for clarification of how to become enlightened. Could you help and give direct no bullshit answer?
  12. It's amazing to see all the self-proclaimed Enlightened people arguing with each other, utterly fascinating.
  13. Thank you, @dharm4 for sharing this. I listened and benefited from it. The most eye-opening take away for me, is how the Left Brain dominates speech communication while Right Brain can't express its wisdom in language or words. That makes a lot of sense now why most sages recommend silence as the best means to Enlightenment, because once the Left Brain can finally shut up, the Right Brain can take over. That makes me feel like we have all the answer all along, but the hypnosis of the linear logical linguistic system actually imprison us in confusion or Maya. I'm digging through his other Podcasts now, what a fascinating scientist he is, Dr. Don Hoffman.
