Honestly if there are NHI out there - I think it highly unlikely there would be one species.

And it is precisely because we are so individuated as egos we are so unique - but this division is also to our detriment.

And NHI making contact with the Trump admin is exactly why I think they would be horrified.

Our violence. Our hatred. But also our capacity for love and compassion.

I think the most advanced ones can pop in and out of different dimensions.

Even though earth is low in development, maybe it has an effect on the bigger cosmic picture, who knows.

(Just like the strait of Hormuz can fuck things up for everyone here on earth.)

If there's an infinite universe out there, is it so unlikely that there'll be some species a million years ahead of us ? And would it be so unlikely that they'd have figured some abilities out, that will make us go Holy fuck ! ?

I would be seriously considering that these beings can possibly manipulate exactly what we see in this reality. If they want us to see a nice calming owl. We will see it.

Airplanes have a cruising speed ~100x faster than the average human. That's mindboggling for a pre-industrial tribesman who has never seen an airplane.

There are already indications that UAPs are breaking the "laws of physics".

Think of speed of light as the distance you have to walk to a restaurant to eat. You could order a DoorDash and the food will come to you.
