The family of a US man who drowned after driving off a collapsed bridge are claiming that he died because Google failed to update its maps.

 

This news probably are all around. Reminding that blindly following maps built from others can lead to terrible consequences.

Reminds me of this video of tourists biking through a highway tunnel because Apple maps told them to.

The lesson here is that we place too much authority into the technologies we use.

   Exactly, which is why it's so important to do visualization exercises, keep developing your mind's eye to represent reality more and more accurately.
