So?

Does that mean that porn doesn't deserve to be addressed?

What's your point? This is a thread talking about porn specifically.

Here is an excerpt from article 12 (UN Declaration of Human Rights):

"No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon his honour and reputation. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks."

This is my position regarding porn.

@Princess Arabia how do you combine high consciousness with being an escort? I can imagine it can be a tough job. Are you even honest towards yourself? From what I heard from girls from the industry, mostly weird guys with stinky asses who can’t get girls order such services. I’m just asking because I’m curious because I have a hard time imagining how I would enjoy that.

I don't want to get into the details here (I don't mind, because I'm open-minded and everyone in my personal life already knows what I do) but for the sake of it not being the place for that kind of talk) Ill try to answer in the order it was asked. I don't combine high consciousness with anything as it's who I am now. I consider a job a job. I don't let my job define me. It is not who I am.

I don't know what you mean by honest with yourself. It's like you want me to lie that I'm being sex-trafficked or have been traumatized. I'm not saying it doesn't come with a price but it's not that way with me.

The industry is very broad based. There are different ways to make money in the industry and your clientele can vary from scumbags to highly respectable people. Just so you understand the adult industry doesn't just cater to guys who can't get girls, most guys who come to the industry already have wives/gfs and are exploring. I find a lot of single guys will go to stripclubs and the ones who are already hooked go to the ones that are more private like massage parlors, or escorts or working girls.

There are lots of lawyers, doctors, judges, business owners, politicians, police officers, firemen, wealthy people and also on the other end of the scale that patronize this field, not just stnky-asses who can't get girls. That's another stigma and misunderstanding. There are plenty of misunderstandings in this field. I'm not saying it's all peachy deachy, but what is in life. It's what you make it. Women and couples also patronize this field. I have not had intercourse yet this year, yet I'm a sex worker. That's a little bit of too much information but I don't care, I'm trying to make a point and I'm not ashamed of what I do. At least it's out there for the world to see, so if I decide to start a YT channel on something Spiritual or cooking no one can call me out in the comment section because it's already old news.

Every worker is different and every situation is different. I'm neither proud nor ashamed of what I do, it just is.

The "I" wants to know it's not. So, it seeks the end of itself. Hurray, there never was an "I".

How is this relevant to this particular discussion?

Porn consumption is a private matter, and no one should be subjected to attacks on his honor and reputation. Everyone has the right of protection of the law against such interference or attacks.

@Ajax do you really fail to see how this has totally nothing to do with the topic of this discussion?

Nobody is saying that you should be attacked for anything. Nobody is planning to raid your house and confiscate your precious pornography archive. Relax.

This thread simply raises awareness about the issue and offers those people who are conscious enough to stop contributing to this toxic industry. Out of their own free will.

Go and start your own thread about your rights to privacy if you feel so strongly about them.

@Ajax the same way how I want to quit eating meat. Not because somebody is going to attack my dignity if I keep eating it, but simply because I recognise that it is a good thing to do.

Im all for porn regulation and legalization, this will greatly deter people operating outside established government operations and union protections.

We cant simply stop watching porn and we cant simply make it illegal non of that solves the issue (not that I think you think that), so the only alternative is to embrace it as part of our society and regulate it.

This will drastically change the incidents of trafficking and abuse as the main channels are better then the side channels.

---

If yoru speaking from the perspective of the individual and how the individual can play there role. Then maybe a more conscious porn consumer will choose to only watch from respectable companies.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

Are you aware you can make your point without attacking someone's character or coming across so defensive and crude. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and so do you but attacking someone because you feel attacked doesn't make you any better, infact, you're just perpetrating the same cause you're so adamantly defending.

As a member of the human species. I agree to abide to the UN Declaration of Human Rights to the best of my ability.  This is senior to any moral considerations of should or should not.

You know what is better than that?

You can support causes and continually educate people of human rights. You can encourage people to know and exercise their rights. That you can do.

I give 20% of my income to organizations that promote education of human rights and provide literature on a grassroots level to spread awareness of human rights as well as organization that file criminal charges against those who violate human rights.

Thanks fuck there is at least one person who is able to hold that concept in their head...

Yes, and videos like this one are really helpful in raising awareness around issues with porn so that it can be properly addressed and regulated.

@Ajax @Princess Arabia this is actually the education you like to mention so much.

Sorry, I am just not as much of a deep thinker as you are.

Proper education requires knowing your human rights. It is by living by these precepts and ensuring others live by them as well. The more people know constantly know and practice human rights, the more they can help others who have been enslaved and oppressed or deterrer and influence others to maintain and protect their human rights.

Courtesy doesn't require deep thinking only your decision to view porn.

Oh WOW! Thank you. That is quite a complement. I shall practice it more and more! Do you have any tips for me to be an even better bot!

Thank you for delving deep into this issue. Too many people have given up their authority to the slave owners.

I honestly have no idea what this sentence means. Did you want to make two separate sentences and forgot a half of it or something?

Idk. As far as I understand they seem to think that you can either "know your human rights and donate to charities" or talk about issues with porn idustry. And that 2 are somehow mutually exclusive.

Or they are just too personally involved in porn/sex industry so critizising it makes them feel attacked...

I was giving you a courtesy lesson, then you apologized for not being a deep thinker that's why you are being rude and I said courtesy doesn't require deep thinking and since the topic is about thinking twice before watching porn I said porn watching requires deep thinking. Understand now.
