Meditating While Sick

6 posts in this topic

I've had a sickness for the last couple of weeks that make concentrating and breathing quite hard, i'm wondering about any techniques that could make it easier especially since it might last for a while?

If you break it down meditation is surrender and not sitting or breathing or concentrating in the right way. It's just surrender to what is.

we need to drive this point home

Suppose Love is real, and let's assume reality is unreal. Suppose we discover that the building block of reality is real Love, that means our assumption was wrong and reality is actually not unreal. Reality is real, if everything we supposed is true. I'm not going to say if it is or not.

Part of the reason I started holosync is because I could not meditate while sick and so I had a gap of week after I had worked up to 6 months straight. So the reason why you can meditate while sick on holosync is that you can just put on headphones and lie down. Its OK if you cough etc or even fall asleep.  I do an additional 20 minutes on the side but at least Im guaranteed some kind of continuity even if Im sick

''I am surrounded by priests who repeat incessantly that their kingdom is not of this world, and yet they lay their hands on everything they can get'' (NapoleonBonaparte).

"We control matter because we control the mind. Reality is inside the skull. You will learn by degrees, Winston. There is nothing that we could not do. Invisibility, levitation—anything. I could float off this floor like a soap bubble if I wish to. I do not wish to, because the Party does not wish it. You must get rid of those nineteenth-century ideas about the laws of Nature. We make the laws of Nature." (1984)

If you watch Rupert Spira on Youtube his belief is that the highest form of Meditation is recognizing  our awareness and being aware of our awareness is all we need.  We don't need 20 years of meditating and hour a day to realize our infinite self.  It's all right here right now if you understand what it is you are seeking.  Not discounting meditation at all in any way but to be closed minded and think that it is the way and the only/best way to know our true self is to deceive your false self into performing something just for the sake of a means to achieve what we already have...

Examine what you believe to be impossible, and then change your beliefs.
