I would like to know what people on this forum would say about this. It’s from a popular instagram account: mo.magnon.

@Holymoly Here's my take on it.

Valid point about many leftists lacking systemic thinking. Though ironic coming from a right winger.

Then the writer makes various unevidenced claims, i.e. detroit, voter movement.

Pretty childish first paragraph on the last side.

Final paragraph on the last side is pretty valid.

Leftists are far more abstract thinkers than right wingers. If any the problem is that they become too abstract that they lose touch with reality.

"All that poverty was caused by the government via high taxes"

Seriously, how dumb can you be?

Poverty in the US is caused by things like lack of education, massive rent payments, health insurance costs and debt.

Reducing taxes is not going to change any of that.

In those posts, there is no justification or establishment of causal connection for the essential claims that he makes, he is just stating his conclusion several times, without backing his claims up by anything.

Very poorly made and formed "arguments".
