If you don't go to college, try to find some way to get a technically in-depth education, in anything that you want to get an expertise in. Focus on becoming an expert in anything that you're passionate about. There is a lot of reading and real-world trial and error that you can do.

And I don't think, I am capable, of doing a degree any longer. So maybe I'll just work. 

(I get tired easily these day, so a traveling, or a studying, would probably be too far out.   ...I'm not as I used to be.)
