Last year a friend of mine got banned from FB for racism and similar accusations and had to write a letter to get unbanned. Just posting this song.

Nothing racist or nazi in it. But it's the maker of this music that is nazi. It looks to me that FB made the algorithm ban anything connected to this guy. If it can happen with plain art, a song about the night. I assume it can be pretty much be the same case for conservative political posts or videos.

So if I take my friend's example, it looks like you don't even need to say something wrong in a given piece of content in order to be ban worthy.

If you don't mind, could you link your friend's account here? I want to see.

P.S. Actually nice video! Some type of heavy metal, I think the instrumentals are: An electric guitar, that long trumpet in the opening, either a harmonica or ocarina or some type of piano with that dripping soft sound, plus electro modified vocals I can't even understand, nice scratchy, chaotic and emotionally soft music over all! Also, nice thumbnail art, I can tell it's soft graphite on a rough textured paper.

Yes, it's a shame when a person posts artwork that may have some loose connections to a Nazi guy. Even the Swastika was originally a spiritual symbol, the swastik, I think either came from Buddhism or Hinduism.

The latest Lex Fridman video. Looks interesting, I'm giving it a watch, intuitively feels strange and some conflations being made of communism/socialism/progressivism from the guest, and Lex doing his best not to look bad faith.

After giving it a watch, what are your thoughts, impressions, feelings of this discussion? More or less good faith?

SO! Returning to the main theme of this thread, should Lex Fridman have used TechLead's face without asking for permission? Is it legal and ethical?

Is that video not a joke?

Why are you fixating on such stupidity?

Maybe it is a joke, or it could be serious in TechLead's eyes. I don't know enough either. I know enough, that in a few places in the USA, a person can legally charge a person for taking a photo of them or their face without permission, aka photo bombing or photo crashing, yeah?

I guess I'm fixated on this issue because I've experienced a different kind of scam/theft involving identity, so I'm extra sensitive to any subtle thefts.

I also like my face, and don't like the idea of someone using my face in public without asking. It's like I used your face, without letting you know, in a reactionary video, whether it's negative or positive context. in a public space, gaining monetization and free marketing from using your face in a click baiting title that may be misleading. Does it bother you a little bit?
