Zelensky putting out doctored uploads of him against fake background. The top of his left arm dissolves as he walks.

Also Zelensky-the-political-expert:

“If Russia is not stopped now, if Russia is not punished now, other aggressors in the world will start other wars. In different regions of the world. On different continents. Wherever a state dreams of conquering its neighbors.”

@K Ghoul It's very obvious from watching the video he's on front of a green screen. Obviously they weren't trying to pass it off as him actually standing in the street giving a speech lmao

RIP Roe V Wade 1973-2022 :)

Ohhh I see. The nostalgia. He’s missing his life on set and that’s why filming himself as if he’s in a movie.

Zelensky: «We do not have a huge territory - from ocean to ocean, we do not have nuclear weapons, we do not fill the world market with oil and gas. But we have our people and our land. For us it is gold»

Isn’t it something he should have thought about instead of smirking every time Putin mentioned the red lines and his concerns over NATO expansion into the Ukraine territory? Now that all the delusions of grandeur have dissipated, he remembered that there are people in Ukraine that now must suffer the consequences of him being a failure at foreign and domestic politics. What a joke.

Russian's playing the victim here over and over. Scaring Eastern European into joining NATO while pulling back from the west at every turn. These things go both ways, its a two way dynamic. It always has been a push and pull since the cold war and long before that. These smaller countries don't exist in a vacuum. Then we turn on the TV and see why that fear is justified. The dynamic reached Ukraine, it should have joined NATO immediately but they hesitated trying to find a balancing act and in this case its costing them their lives.

Russia scares Eastern Europe, so they join NATO for safety. By pulling back diplomatically they caused what they don't want. By becoming an autocrat the democracies fear you, there is a history there.

Like most people, countries or societies cause what they don't want. Its not exclusive to Russia or Putin. They see something like an unwinnable war so they go and make sure it happens for example. NATO doesn't want China and Russia to ally so they do the things that make it happen. Europe wants to stop India becoming more easternized so their actions cause it, fear.

Fear often causes what you don't want to happen, to manifest.

That's not so obvious to me at all. I think that's exactly the point, to make it seem like he's out in the streets. Propaganda or war tactic, call it what you want. It doesn't matter that some people like yourself see through it, the point is that the majority of people who see it will think he's out on the streets.

I think you are projecting a little bit? “They see something like an unwinnable war so they go and make sure it happens for example.” is the exact opposite of how Putin thinks - he understands the war will not be won if he goes against the West and NATO, and is being proactive right now to prevent a bigger conflict that would erupt inevitably if he let the West and Ukraine continue do what they were trying to do at his border, continue disregarding Russian interests. The politics is all about maneuvering around other countries interests in such a way that benefits you without crossing other peoples lines. Something Zelensky does not seem to grasp due to his lack of experience, perhaps? The West knows it, that’s why they’re playing with other peoples lives, but are very serious about their own.

There was no inevitability of a war between NATO and Russia.  This was a fear of a possible outcome. There has been no war between Russia and the west directly but there have forever been proxy wars or wars by association. Its not saying fear is unjustified to admit there is fear either.

His fear is driving his actions here. Shown sometimes in his displays of anger at the inevitable result of what he is doing. A long and protracted bloody war or occupation even if it were surrendered tomorrow. He understands by acting against Ukraine NATO would reply too. He doesn't want to call armies shooting at armies a war, I understand that. Because it would mean admitting to himself he is going down the path to the conflict he feared.

Sure he hasn't yet caused the world war WE ALL FEAR, which is why we need to make pains to tone down that fear, but at the same time he is on the path to causing what he fears.

Again fear is not wrong, bad or something to avoid. Its just what's fueling most of the actions, by everyone here, not just Russia, but Ukraine, Eastern Europe, NATO and even India has some too in how it see's itself caught in the middle for example.

Of course, you are free to view his actions as fear-based, if that’s how you see it. I personally don’t see Putin’s actions rooted in fear but rather coming from deep understanding of the dynamics that play out again and again throughout history, and being proactive about it. Then again, these are just my views

Of course, that doesn't mean they're using civilians as human shields.
