Where does the past and future exist?

@Ya know And when do minds and memories happen?

There is only the present moment.

@Inliytened1 If consciousness is infinite, doesn't that include the past as well?

Or is the past non-existent somehow, and is only a function of the mind?

You create "the past" in the present moment.

The past is what Consciousness creates (yes a function of the mind) to explain what it is because it has forgotten

@Inliytened1 @Matthew85

Ok thanks, interesting.

It seems odd to me that there is only ever now though. So there is an awareness that is nothing, that only ever appears now.

Now / Presence is such a weird thing to quantify.

Through our own experiences it makes sense.

Is it possible that others life forms don't perceive time the way we do? So hypothetically consciousness could be somewhere other than now? (Slaughter house 5)

And if God is eternal / omniscient, could he be outside of the moment?

Notice the difference between Actuality and Imagination.  Slaughter house 5 is imagination.  Look at your hand.  Acknowledge it right now.  That right now that is actual is what you ARE.

So called consciousness is just the bodily senses and thought process.

It's not anything special at all.

It only seems special to an imaginary individual that thinks it's on a spiritual journey.

Time is an illusion or an effect within the experience of being a separate individual.
