Leo can't heal himself because of his closed mindness?

The whole thing is one of the most interesting videos i've come across. BUT

Leo's has a theory about healing and so called "woo-woo" stuff. He says that it may be true for some, in their bubble of perspective, and not for others in theirs.

From the beginning, when Leo says about how he searched for "healers" he says, he doesn't really believe in that. He even checks 5 of them to make sure if they make the same story. After healing, he immediately thought that it didn't help!


it's an obvious sign of closed- mindness. And obviously, if something may become true in your bubble of perspective, you must believe in that without any doubt and hesitation first! If you think you can do it or you can't, you are right in both cases. The so-called "healers" believes in that 100%!

It's all a dream, and what's real or unreal, is pure imagination, so self-healing should be possible in any case, when you trully believe in it!

And Leo seems skeptical to it, from the beginning, which may corrupt the whole process!

What do you think about that? 

What do you think about self-healing, and other "woo-woo stuff?" Is it just matter of believes and imagination, or are there pure, objective (as much as dream provides) limits to that? 

Can some people REALLY see other entities, energy, heal themselves etc?

What do you think @Leo Gura? maybe working on that to expand your mind even more, to this possibility,  would help?

One more point to consider - PLACEBO EFFECT - it's basically self-healing if you believe hard enough!

Healing is a complex subject. There are many variables in every situation as to why someone will or won't heal from illness. Yes, belief that you can or will be healed is a major factor. It's not as simple as just being close-minded though. One example. There might be an instance where the higher mind manifests illness as a catalyst to move you in a new direction or expand your consciousness. So what appears as "negative" is serving something you desire.

Damn. That was hard to watch. That guy was so courteous, patient, kind & woke, and that ‘would you push this button’ explanation was otherwise so helpful & insightful. 

Bubbles have properties by the way. The spheres aren’t bubbles. 

And well being isn’t a matter of belief at all, just allowing, ‘getting out of one’s own way’. 

That was a rather complete misunderstanding and therein, sharing of ignorance & misinformation on Reiki, which also has nothing to do with belief(s). 

Sentiment wise, it’s heartbreaking to see.

Iteratively testing claims in your direct experince is closemindedness? If he was really closeminded he wouldn't go out of his way and test his doubts in the first place

Leo isn't close-minded per se. It's just that he lacks the faith and discipline to persevere in the face of failure. If he wants it any other way, then he'll need to consider options he never has before. Options that are so simple, but in his twisted worldview seem so dangerous that he'd never consider them. Which, in my judgment isn't going to occur. Therefore, if he wants to fix himself then most likely pure perseverance will be the only way forward.

Love equals power, plus one of Leo's greatest flaws is his over-reliance on logical thinking and avoidance of embracing his feelings. Consequently, he has low personal standards and often fails to focus on himself enough. Because he's too busy thinking about what everyone else values to be aware of his own values in any serious capacity. So you hit the nail on the head with that one.
