Consequences of a unregulated dating market on society

Thank you for sharing your story! I can relate to that, because I grew up at stage blue as well. And turning from blue to orange as an adult, still felt strange in a stage green society like Sweden. I'm glad to hear that you finally are in a happy relationship, and I have great respect for that. It's definitely not easy after decades of single virgin life.

@Heinrich Faust Ah, Sweden. Love you Scandinavians. Best friend is Norwegian.

It's tough being a fish out of water. I have a lot of empathy for red pillers even though they're tough to reach. If I'd been born in another era I would be one, probably an alt-righter as well. I think stage green types contribute to the problem unknowingly and could do more to help. I shouldn't be such a team sport. Something that gets lost on both liberals and conservatives is the concept of a good man. I've known good men. I never wanted to be anything else. My dad was a good man. A Baptist deacon, but I swear he was stage yellow.

Correcting society's unfair position toward women and LGBT people was and is necessary. But what about boys who know they're straight and want to be men? If role models in the media tell us what makes a man is violence and domination and if progressives also define men that way... Well that boy still wants to be a man. What else does he have to aim for except violence and domination?

And if you start out on that road and you decide to grow, but you see people like yourself being shut down for past views, how are we going to get anywhere as a society? I'm pretty fortunate that most of my right wing BS existed way back before the Internet, but I'm old. We could all stand to be more charitable with one another.

@Arcangelo Thanks. Still not sure about all of Leo's content, but some of it made so much sense and is so little discussed, I can't dismiss any of it out of hand. Impressed by most of the discussions I've seen so far as well.

Violence and domination are stage red male features. It's not about men, it's about stage red. Accordingly, patriarchy is a stage blue feature. Fighting patriarchy is not fighting men; it's fighting stage blue.

Funnily enough, it's the men at the lower stages, including orange, who complain about not being allowed to be men. Stage green men never complain. And that is, because the rising green society does not cut down on masculine behaviour; it cuts down on red, blue, and orange behaviour. It's a big misunderstanding. And that not just confuses the lower stages, that confuses stage green, too.

What I'm saying is if you-'re a young man growing up in those lower stages where stage green is portrayed as the enemy, and you can't seem to make any progress, old ways look like the solution. I'm saying they can change to stage green and we should help them do so instead of condemning them for not being there yet. Who I am now is the very thing I demonized in the past, because I didn't know any better.

If green doesn't do a better job marketing itself, stage red types like Steve Bannon and Donald Trump will. We need to give these guys a way out. Shaming them will only make it worse.

That's exactly what I'm saying. You have two groups misinterpreting each other as the enemy when they're all just confused good guys/gals who don't know how to communicate.

I personally do believe in monogamy. But any kind of measures taken to control the dating market can only do more harm than good. And I don't even think it will work. It's like trying to ban pornography from the internet, good luck with that. Banning and/or regulating it seems to only create sexual repression in people.
