@TheSomeBody If you understand his dogma you know what he means. The same logic of the old caliphate. Not living with sharia is unjust and oppression. So al he does with conquering is freeing people! And according to his dogma when you lose land in the past you always have to conquer it. So Israël is on the list too. Its crazy logic. You might have heard in the news that the army rebelled against him. That was the last resistance to protect democracy. He has extremely inflaming logic and speech and can/has also inflame muslims and westerners in the west. This is the person EU wanted to join the EU!  I hope people that thought that was a good idea, have a good look at themselves, your naivety is dangerous.

@Leo Gura Erdogan is doing it for internal politics. He is down in the polls and he is trying to consolidate the Muslim vote this way. It is not serious. For outsiders it might seem that way. No way Erdogan can win the elections again. He destroyed the turkish economy. @Gregp

@StarStruck Democracy has ended already he doesn't need to hold fair elections anymore. This we have to thank the EU for. EU wanted Erdogan to get power over the army. The army was what protected democracy for a long time. He is very very serious, it's his life work, slowly working towards a more caliphate like state. He didn't for nothing go to jail for extremist talk. The talk to the west is the fake talk. This double talk is a strategy that a lot of leaders in the east do.
