@AlwaysBeNice You're missing the point.

The point is not to equate humans and insects.

The point is for you to understand how the ego-mind justifies selfish behavior due to relativity of morals.

You fundamentally don't understand yet how slaverowners think. Because you're stuck in your own worldview.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

YOU ARE SELFISH. You do not care about the pain of others. Your survival hinges on you not caring.

This is a very modern "survival for the fittest" belief system that I do not agree with. Human beings as a spieces would never make it if they were born selfish. Neither would ant. Some organisms can and do, like spiders (where the female eats the male for lunch after sex, and the baby spiders feast on mommy). I do not believe human beings are born good either, we are born blank. Everything has to be learnt, including the fact that we are separate individuals. A newborn baby has no concept of self, which is a requirement of selfishness.

A newborn is so selfish it doesn't even have a concept of selfishness yet.

The most selfish people are the ones who don't even know that selfishness is a thing.

A newborn does not know what selfishness is, nor does it know what selflessness is. Knowing either of this concepts requires prerequisite knowledge. Knowledge of the self. Think of a newborns mind as the ego-death conscious state. The conscious mind is almost blank, like an empty computer disk. The subconscious mind already has most of its survival programs, and for humans, that includes those needed for survival as part of a social group. The spider that eats its mother will not have any of those programs, as it is designed to live a selfish, solitary life. Not so with humans. Human babies are one of the most useless offspring in the animal kingdom, fully dependent on selfless carers for in the first years of life
