I would love to hear your experiences with dopamine detoxes. Please share any useful tips.

A dopamine detox is when you take a break from stimulating activities for a period of time. (A few days to a few weeks). Some activities to avoid while on this detox include:

Social Media, Youtube/TV, Music, Video games, Porn, basically any screen time, Sex/masturbation, games, and stimulating foods.

The idea is that this will sort of reset your dopamine receptors, and you will be more motivated to do things that used to be boring like working on a project or exercising.

I haven't done a dopamine detox before but I'm starting one tomorrow. I would love to hear about your experiences and any tips :)

I usually go on a dopamine cleans when I go live on my farm, there's just no time for the internet, nor do you want to with so many activities to do. I've always feel best when I'm in that state. But I've never done so with the intention of doing it. Would be an interesting challenge, and I'd love to hear from other people here on their experiences.

I´ve found going for a long running session (if it can be around nature, much better) instantly makes me avoid dopamine abuse stimulation for the next 4-5 hours. If you go out running before 4-5 hours before sleep, you basically do an almost effortless 12-13 hours dopamine detox

I used to run A LOT when I wanted to quit porn lol. 

Apart from that i´ve found that putting yourself boundaries is the best approach. For example checking the forum x2 times a day, checking instagram x3 times a day, email 3 times a day...etc. That way I don´t check it like 50 times a day which usually hurts a lot my overall concentration and focus and usually gives me anxiety.

What makes your dopamine circuits heal faster (hard-mode)

-Avoiding youtube, social, media and videogames.

-Dont overindulge in tasty food. Eat without salt and saces.

-Stop masturbating or having sex.

-Quit marihuana, coffe and alcohol.

-Practise weighlifting and hiit.

-Dont watch hot girls even if you dont touch yourself.

-Dont watch action movies.

The point it to have a hard time, like in prison, or forced labors. Youll learn to be happy i with zero stimulation.
