Another wise words from Luqman The Wise.

" O my son, do not do any action with displeasure.

Do not go out on a journey without necessity.

Do not ask a question which will not benefit you.

Do not squander your wealth, nor consider the wealth of others good.

What you send in advance is your wealth, and what you leave behind is the wealth of others.

O my son, Whoever is kind receives kindness.

Whoever keeps silent is safe.

Whoever speaks good benefits, and whoever speaks evil commits a sin.

Whoever does not control his tongue becomes repentant. "

A wall is made to protect you from wild animals, harsh weathers and to keep your belongings/loved ones safe.

This won't be easy. But those who practice all 10 will get the 11th.

Al-Mu'minun : "The Believers"

1.Certainly will the believers have succeeded:

2.They who are during their prayer humbly submissive

3.And they who turn away from ill speech

4.And they who are observant of zakah(alms)

5.And they who guard their private parts

6.Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed -

7.But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors -

8.And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive

9.And they who carefully maintain their prayers -

10.Those are the inheritors

11.Who will inherit Al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally.

Al-Firdaus is the highest heaven.

...

(This is actually the earlier verses of what i've posted in @Highest poetry journal. The continuation of this verse is the story of mankind. Our history.)

A sage said,

"Behave politely with the people of this world. Behave wisely with the people of the next world. Behave as you wish with the God-fearing."

SUFI APHORISMS

IBN ATA ALLAH AL-ISKANDARI

16

How can it be conceived that something veils Him,

since He is the One who manifests everything?

How can it be conceived that something veils Him

since He is the one who is manifest through everything?

How can it be conceived that something veils Him,

since He is the One who is manifest in everything?

How can it be conceived that something veils Him,

since He is the Manifest to everything?

How can it be conceived that something veils Him,

since He was the Manifest before the existence of anything?

How can it be conceived that something veils Him,

since He is more manifest than anything?

How can it be conceived that something veils Him,

since He is the One alongside of whom there is nothing?

How can it be conceived that something veils Him,

since He is nearer to you than anything else?

How can it be conceived that something veils Him,

since, were it not for Him,

the existence of everything would not have been manifest?

It is a marvel how Being has manifested in nonbeing,

and how the contingent has been established

alongside of Him who possesses the attribute of Eternity!

41:37

Among His Signs are the Night and the Day, and the Sun and the Moon. Do not prostrate to the sun and the moon, but prostrate to Allah, Who created them, if it should be Him that you worship.

Who Is God ?

Your Guardian-Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the Throne (of authority): He draweth the night as a veil o'er the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession: He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) governed by laws under His command. Is it not His to create and to govern? Blessed be Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds. [7:54]

Call on your Lord with humility and in private: for Allah loveth not those who trespass beyond bounds. [7:55]

Do no mischief on the earth, after it hath been set in order, but call on Him with fear and longing (in your hearts): for the Mercy of Allah is (always) near to those who do good.[7:56]

And upon them and on ships you are carried.

I found a few old books that are interesting to read. Some are my grandfather's book.

It's about the things that are worth doing. On what really matters. In life.

And Allah has set forth an example for those who believe, the wife of Fir'aun (Pharaoh), when she said: "My Lord! Build for me a home with You in Paradise, and save me from Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and his work, and save me from the people who are Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers and disbelievers in Allah). [66:11]

And Maryam (Mary), the daughter of 'Imran who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into (the sleeve of her shirt or her garment) through Our Ruh [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel)], and she testified to the truth of the Words of her Lord [i.e. believed in the Words of Allah: "Be!" and he was; that is 'Iesa (Jesus) - son of Maryam (Mary); as a Messenger of Allah], and (also believed in) His Scriptures, and she was of the Qanitin (i.e. obedient to Allah). Allah presents an example of those who disbelieved: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. They were under two of Our righteous servants but betrayed them, so those prophets did not avail them from Allah at all, and it was said, "Enter the Fire with those who enter." [66:10]
