I have a friend that is a master tattoo artist, he also mastered NLP and Hypnosis for his clients (to help with pain and relaxation). He used NLP once on the phone with me to get me out of a difficult situation safely, with incredible results! Since then, I have had an interest, yet I am also leery, (because of the reputation with creepy guys using it to manipulate women). I have no desire to manipulate anyone, especially in a negative way. Randombodymind, if you can briefly explain how self-actualizers would use NLP in our lives, in a positive way, I will support your request (add my voice to it as well).

NLP is a fascinating subject many coaches swear by, and which I have not studied with any depth.  I would love to hear what Leo has to say on this subject.
