Strong White Light Beam

Meanwhile sleeping, I had this strong visualization of a very bright and strong white light, and I felt I could just surrender into it, but I forced myself not do it, what would happen if I did? I don't know. Do you have any suggestions of what this experience was all about?

Yes, It's scary. And I've had other few surrender opportunities aswell, but It's like falling into an unkwown abyss

Because ego dies to IT. Don't be afraid it is THE BEST no thing in existance.

This is never a fair game to the ego. The ego could at least feel comfort going there, and I found just right now that I was holding the belief that the Ego must approved this experiences so It could permit itself to surrender, but it is a huge trap, it will never accept it. And I feel that this surrender is similiar to lucid dreaming, to not trying to control it, just letting go without resistance

have you ever had any similar experience about surrendering mind visualisations ?

In this case there was no particular emotion, I just felt disconfort, not even fear in particular, but a sense of being too heavy to handle

@oMarcos hey, 

i have similar experiences when lying down to meditate, my body and sensory experience start to relax. While I see a flash of a thinned out version of white light from time to time

I also just read in the spiral dynamics book, that this is can happen and is more of a third tier, transrational phenomenon. 

I personally think it could be a hint to no self, but that is just mere speculation.
