  • 21  Biting Through  Line 2
  • 38. Separating/Opposition

I received this same changing line 2 days ago. It's about being under a spell and becoming free of it. The Cosmos is trying to help me to become free of it. If I resist this help and continue to blame wrong things, the Oracle councils that I will only create another fate for myself.

Bearing with the conditioned in gentleness, fording the river with resolution, not neglecting what is distant, not regarding one's companions; thus one may manage to walk in the middle. H11L2

I forgot to record yesterday's reading

5-3-2019

  • 59 Dissolution/Disolving.  Lines 5 and 6
  • 7 The Army

5-4-2019

  • 32.  Duration   Lines 2,3,5 and 6
  • 12.  Being Halted

Lots of material in the changing lines in this reading. Cautions about a number of things including ---

  • being overwhelmed by wallowing in doubt
  • faith based on hope
  • self blame by going along with the parallel world of the collective ego
  • restlessness and acting impulsive

My I pad became sick and disconnected for a couple days coinciding with the site having troubles. I've got a lot of catch up reading to do. Pressed on time this morning.

Pondering my changing lines connected with Nourishing,,,,,

  • 5.  Waiting line 3
  • 60   Limitation/Self-Limitation

Today the changing line gives council in regard to the effects of making certain types of projections which result in putting a spell on others which then has further consequences.

A lot of my actions seem to be the equivalent of picking out the cleanest shirt in the dirty clothes pile.

  • 6     Conflict.  Line 4
  • 59   Dissolution/Dissolving

The changing line 4 of hexagram 6 councils about ending a fate caused by my own wrong thinking.

It brings to mind the Greek word Metanoia as it's used in the New Testament according to the interpretation of many in esoteric Christianity. Reversal of thought,,,, or Transformational change of heart instead of bowing the head in shameful repentance and being stained with guilt.

25.  Innocence   Not Expecting/Not Projecting

"Not Expecting/not projecting," the Sage informs us, is a person's natural state of mind. It means residing in one's center, where discernment springs spontaneously from the feeling of what is harmonious and what is discordant. Such a state is in harmony with the Cosmos and draws its help in all situations.    -- small piece of the text.

  • 24. Returning

A small part of the text concerning hexagram 24 -

Returning also indicates the direction in which the path of development leads: back to the person's original nature. It does not lead forward, through cultivating virtues or becoming something we are not, but is a process of continuous subtraction of what we have falsely added, thus to allow the True Self to resume its path toward maturation. Each step on this path leads to increasing light and relief. One takes this path through ceasing to look outward for the solutions to problems, to look inward instead to the choices that have been made. Each hexagram illuminates some hidden part of the psyche, helping us to discover our true nature.

A part of this morning's reading and Its council is about letting go of ego emotions such as grief, guilt, blame, fear, doubt and hatred.

" Of all these emotions, it is most important to get rid of guilt, because guilt keeps a person caught in a vicious circle of self- blame."

  • 56.  The Wanderer.  Line 2
  • 50.  The Ting

"in its Cosmic meaning, the Ting is an image of the Cosmic Consciousness as a vessel containing the nourishment for all things that exist."  -- from the text.

You're not really listening or hearing this song unless the volume is starting to rattle glass and loosen Sheetrock. Pop culture was out of favor with me in the early to mid 1990's. That's one reason I didn't really discover Kurt Cobain until about 6-8 years after his death. I really relate to him because he's a moving Centered Mars essence type. He was a real embodiment of the adrenal type.

  • 45.  Gathering Together   Line 2
  • 31   Influence

Council given from changing line 2 -

""Letting oneself be drawn" refers to allowing the correct way to show itself by responding only, rather than to take the initiative. By responding to what our inner senses tell us in relation to the situation of the moment, we remain blameless. In this circumstance we restrict ourselves to only what we feel is correct for us. We never tell others what they should do or how they should feel; thus we do not lose our Cosmic protection."
