I want to start a carnivore diet - any advice?

10 posts in this topic

Hey,

today I saw JP's daughter talk about how it helped her radically (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXPqIDx3_DM), then I did some superficial research and decided to give it a spontaneous try.

  • I stopped eating bread and pasta a year ago, 4 months ago I cut out sugar and started to eat a vegetarian diet. It has helped a bit to reduce fatigue and hunger, but my stomach is almost constantly bloated
  • Mood and anxiety are ok when at home, but in social situations I still get triggered quite fast and I feel exhausted afterwards
  • While studying I'm distracted easily

I read into some info and dangers (https://meat.health/knowledge-base/carnivore-diet-symptoms-and-cures/, but what are some basic things I have to keep an eye on? What are your experiences?

I personally think carnivore only diet is extreme and unrealistic. I like the Mediterranean diet for health, but if you insist.

Just make sure you are eating high quality animal foods - like Grass-fed beef, butter, milk, and yogurt.

If you want, you can even incorporate raw milk, if you're willing to take the risk.
