There is heart relationship. Dogs are so innately devotional.

The idea that stupidity is its own punishment. Today I was pushing this idea further. Are all passions, so to speak, their own punishment and therefore all virtues are their own reward? Possibly,,,,, as I think,,, lust, sloth, anger, pride, envy, deceit, fear/doubt, avarice

Another consideration,,, Does degree of consciousness or conscience play into this scenario? 
Sooo let me see. Stupidity is not a passion. Innocence could be interpreted as stupidity at times. Yet innocence is a virtue. I can also see where innocence can invite a distressful or harmful experience. 
The premise I started with just got turned upside down.

Elon Musk is a Trillionaire again. I guess because the markets have surged. I haven't really investigated it. Did you realize that a trillion is a million million or 1000 billion = 1 trillion.  That's amazing to me. It seems to me like some people hate Musk just because he's that wealthy. I look forward to seeing what kinds of success he has. He's a gambler. Terrafab project in Texas is interesting for sure. He wants to colonize Mars,,, I think I'll stay on Earth, thank you very much. 

I haven't done much with the Science of Idiotism. Such as ,,,anything,,,. Oh well,, It's a journal anyway and it does speak/inform back to myself and others, (for whatever good that does) about various aspects concerning the actualizing of human potentials. I've made it clear that I'm not concerned with every line of development that can be worked on. I can't give a speech like an award-winning erudite extrovert. I'm more introverted with a tendency to speak awkwardly when there is more than 3 people around. I just don't care to work on my ability for public speaking. I'd rather work on other other areas, my strong points,,,, to hell with this "get-out-of-your-comfort-zone type of masochism. I can do that every once in a while. I maintain that actually it could be said that I'm in arrested development. My own prognosis or evaluation is that individuation has outpaced integration. This leaves me in a rather peculiar circumstance besides or in addition to having a lack of credibility among some folks. 

Who knows what the future brings?  Yeah,,uh huh...

I like this. We can get to the same destination through different means. I suffer from this, the truth is that I'm also not cut out for certain things and my time and energy is ever more limited. So I should free myself "to hell with it".

I chose to save this here in my journal. I recommend it to anyone that would be drawn to listening to it. Not just because it affected me almost instantly with each sentence. It’s directed at a complicated part of all of us. Some of us will find it relevant more than others no doubt,,,

The nights are cold now. I woke up in the night and had to get a quilt to get under. Waking up at daybreak snuggled under a warm quilt is a special feeling I’ve missed for a few months. The sun is out and it’s 48 degrees with a slight wind. A nice long walk on the ranch beside the creek sounds inviting. I probably sound like a wealthy person living a life of ease and luxury. I’m not. I never married or had children to be responsible for their raising. I passed on management of the ranch to my niece and 2 nephews. Beef is expensive these days but so is the cost of raising beef. The overall cattle herd in the United States has shrunk in numbers quite a bit in the last 15 years. Extremes in weather. Mostly drought has forced many to sell. Then the increase in price makes it difficult to buy back in. There are many variables involved in cattle ranching that most people are clueless about. It’s an impossibility for anyone to go into raising beef and start from scratch with borrowed money. Being born into a family that has the land and equipment mostly paid for doesn’t equal guaranteed success. It’s somewhat like logging in a way. It’s a lifestyle that can beat the shit out of you. I carry injuries that limit me to a degree. I don’t have health insurance. Being guilty of procrastination and ignoring my aches and pains seems to result in the narrowing of possibilities to an extent. I’ve paid into the system for years but I currently don’t benefit from any kind of disability compensation. I have a small income but have no debt. I have freedom but not enough money for travel. Simply existence that I am very thankful for. I see a world full of people who have become slaves to banks and lending institutions and punching the clock. There are others with wealth and luxury. They often seem shallow. A large part of that may simply be my projections upon them which I try to remind myself of that human tendency.

By the way, my dreams last night were vivid and full of detail. Reviewing them in my mind after I had awoke caused me to laugh. I think I’ll go on that walk now.

To Love everyone is too difficult to try all the time. If it could arrive through default somehow,,, Many life experiences and ageing.

Experiencing living life as a school,,, Transforming incoming impressions. It is said in the Work to take in impressions consciously. Three types of food for us 3 brained beings. Solid food/water, air, impressions.

 

 

 

I was watching a short documentary earlier today about Switzerland and its Heroin addicts. They give them a fix 3 or 4 times a day and treat them like human beings. Find good jobs for them. Education and other programs as well. 

Doing a few google searches I came to the conclusion that Alcoholics and Methamphetamine addicts don't perform as well with that approach for some reason. I intuit that maybe they should utilize their participation through community service as sex workers, comedians, street musicians or Poets. If there were practical needs to be addressed. That would be the most workable, of course. The characteristics of addicts of different substances are comprised of a multiple of variables both physiological and psychological which render them as vastly different in nature. Although they may fall under the same category. That being addressed as a disease called addiction.
