True not knowing

14 posts in this topic

Is not it time to wake up and become conscious of what you truly don’t know? For example many people speculate what happens after death and etc. and etc. What does the state of not knowing mean to you?

Not knowing simply means a state of ‘No-mind’.

Mind can be knowledgeable, mind can be ignorant.

If you have less information you are thought to be ignorant; if you have more information you are thought to be knowledgeable.

So, between ignorance and knowledge the difference is only that of quantity, of degrees.

They are not different, their qualities are not different.

Vegetable. Or possible Enlightenment, maybe a mix.

Exactly. And state of no mind can not know what happens after death or what Enlightenment is. It can only be it and be the presence!

The state of not knowing for me is the highest blessing.

The beauty is that is not a state.

The joy is there is no meaning.

This is a truly creative movement “new” because there is no you “the knower/known”

?

Not knowing is honestly, humility, complete open mindedness, which by the nature of you asking about this, you certainly have. Knowing there is nothing to know, is from direct experience of transcendence of thinking, which includes all things that could be known.

There’s just water, until it realizes it’s oil, and when it does, it transcends water, it inherently rises above the water. Not because it is superior, but because that is the nature of oil. From that perspective, all the water (thinking / knowledge) is revealed to be, water.

“Be like water”  - (Chuck Norris)

And you’re already oil.

Indeed @Nahm

Total Humility is opening a door to a different dimension so to speak.

If the movement of knowing ends “which is the reaction and response to fear” the self/knower will start to dissolve.

This is the cessation of the movement of time.
