My flexibility needs work, today I couldn't preform the half lotus although I seated upright in a armless chair. How long should I practice this exercise before practicing lesson 2

@Shakazulu have you seen Leo’s blog video?

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie

Question about half lotus (I’m asking because I’m working on my flexibility).

Does the knee of the upper foot touch the ground? Seems impossible to achieve that!

@Leo Gura typo, did it seated in an armless chair

So what is the problem? You can't sit on chair?

Sit on the ground and put some pillows under your butt. It'll still hurt but it gets better.
