Time is an illusion created by consciousness.

"Time" is an illusion created by consciousness.

This analogy will clarify:

In a film projector, the individual frames of the film are shown in a rapid steady sequence - one frame at a time. This rapid steady sequence of STILL frames creates the ILLUSION of flowing time. But in truth, all the actual frames that are used all exist simultaneously. There is the illusion of "time" only when the film projector displays those frames - one frame at a time - in a rapid steady sequence. Yet, ALL those frames exist simultaneously. In fact the projectionist can take out the roll of film, spread it out on the floor and view all those frames at the same time.

In a similar manner, our consciousness "projects" individual "still frames of reality" in a steady and extremely rapid sequence. Bashar says we do this BILLIONS of times per second - thus creating the ILLUSION of the steady flow of TIME. Each of these individual "still frames of reality" contains absolutely NO MOTION whatsoever! It is a frozen snapshot - perfectly still. And yet, by sequencing these still frames at a steady very-fast rate, we have the ILLUSION of time - the flow of time.

(You have to redefine the vibration that you are, in order to create the illusion that you have moved - because you are not really "moving" anywhere. In a sense it is more accurate to actually say that, rather than you moving, the universe around you has moved through you.

You have re-identified your locational vibration to create the illusion that you have taken a step forward. In fact, all you have done is redefine the universe around you in subtle increments, so that it seems there is a continuity of motion. If you were to remove some of those subtle increments, then you would have, what you call, teleportation. You would be here - then there. And you would not see the intervening steps.)

Bashar says the present is not a result of the past.

He says we humans are used to "do stuff" to make changes happen, but it's possible to shift entirely in one single second.

We don't believe we can do it, so we don't.

It's like Neo learning to use his powers in the matrice ^^ when he's on the roof and jump.

@Soulbass Beautiful example, thank you!

The power of our consciousness is purely amazing. It really feels like we were gods once, but something happened and we forgot our true nature, foolishly dove in the "ego swamp". Or is it the other way around? Are we just children who're learning their path of becoming a god? Or is it happening in the both ways simultaneously? (#mindfuck)

I came to this insight myself.  Time is a representation of change — and change is illusory in the Now.  The Now never changes.  And The Now is not the present moment, and the present moment is not the Now.  That’s another insight!
