Does the dog think a human is a feeling?

Does the dog think a human is a feeling?

Is it that they label everything as their own feelings? That thing over there is -> "this feeling". That object is -> "this feeling". There world is not filled with objects its filling with representation of there own feelings.

Their own feelings exist "out there" in the world.

Food is a feeling that's right there. And then they eat that feeling.

It is a completely different paradigm. Where the world is made of feelings, and not things, or anything else.

Where this might fail: If you yell they feel something different so They might not confuse the object for the feeling. They experience that the object stays the same, but the feeling can change.

  • "The Couch" isn't an item of furniture made of wood and fabric. It is "The Comfort-Space."
  • "The Vet Clinic" isn't a medical facility. It is "The Threat-Vibe."
  • "The Leash" isn't a nylon strap. It is "The Outside-Excitement."
  • "The Owner" isn't a human named John. It is "The Core Anchor of Love/Protection."

Do they realize that their emotional reaction to an object originates inside their own mind/body, or do they experience it as an inherent quality of the object?

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

The consciousness field of an animal and a human is the same. The difference is that the animal has less complex brain so it can't speak and also cognitive/mental overlay is very simple. Don't ask me how I know this.

A rock experiences everything as "Who I am"

An animal feels the Other, but never realize himself. This creates animalistic approach. For the dog other things are animalistic to him and he is animalistic to the things.

Or learn self reflection after an intense emotional experience some day or slowly and start to think in terms of options and choices as his soverign will.

Maybe not a soverign will :) , but certainly want to choose the best for himself.

A human is a significant Other for the dog.

Most humans don't recognize this. Haha.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Dogs have very astute intelligence and can even discern if someone is suspect person.

yeah But it's mostly vibe that they're picking up on.

But this is good information.  They are masters at this.

This is actually not a shallow thing.  I've seen the same dog respond to different people in different ways.  They can pick up on things that humans do not.

Regarding picking up on "vibe" - dogs can get this wrong if there is a pathology present.

And yes, dogs can be traumatised. Animals can suffer from trauma.

Regarding the OP: Are you asking if dogs experience something through an emotion, or experience the thing as an emotion?

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

You can always respond with a can be.  Anything can be is an imaginative exercise.

Maybe when they look at you, they see an emotion in the shape of a person.

They possibly don't recognize that they are having an emotion and instead they think you are an emotion.

When they look at food, they see the food as the emotion pleasure.

Reality is made of emotions and they have to go out and find them in places. They dont think of it as "i have emotion", instead it "it is emotion"

The emotion is out there in the world, not in their body.

What?

There are some individuals that claim animals cannot be traumatized on the grounds they do not have the level of consciousness humans operate from.

Not all dogs are traumatized.

I mean... I could argue this might be true of humans also. Looking at people from this frame could apply - we tend to assess and make distinctions around objects based on function. The function of a thing has a value assigned, and that value is based on our feelings, emotions and preferences. We humans might just be exceptional at abstracting away from this core fact (that most assessments are emotional in nature, maybe all).

If i owned a PSA rated 10 Charizard hololless Pokemon Card worth 600k, If i think about the card ill have a feeling about it.

I am experiencing a feeling and not the card is a feeling.

The color of the card is happy -> we dont make sentences like this because we dont attribute emotions to things.

We also have theory of mind and that we know two people can feel different things when looking at the Pokemon card.

A dog possibly thinks the Pokemon card is a feeling and not that they are having a feeling.
