The medieval Christian perspective, worldview and world.

5 posts in this topic

Modern education is biased towards secularism and atheism. Everything is interpreted through a materialist lens. Even modern Christians have one foot in Christianity, and another in secularism and materialism. Christians in medieval times were more fully Christian. The way they interpreted everyday reality and event was more enchanted with spirits, angels, demonic possessions, holy spirit, God, etc...

Paradoxically the more ignorant a Christian is, the closer he is to true Christianity. This is not a bug but a feature because modern education indoctrinates people in a secular interpretation of everything.

In this respect part of the Islamic world is closer to medieval Christianity than modern Christians. Take a look at Afghanistan, Iran or Palestine, there God rules. God is the law. Not some silly human construct we call the law in the west.

Most modern people make the mistake of thinking that science is a better worldview than medieval christianity let's say.
This is not the case.
Because fundamentally reality is infinite, hence can be looked at in infinite ways.
Whatever way you look at reality materializes and become your reality.
You're forced to look at reality a certain way to have something, otherwise you have infinite formless potential/nothing.

This is a great piont. Well stated.

That's exactly right.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.
