This is such a challenging situation to grapple with. Both in understanding it on various levels and maintaining composure, looking at it without bias, understanding the beliefs, the perspectives, the politics, the economics, the people. It would be so easy to blame this on minorities, which yeah like almost every video I saw of rioters they looked like immigrants from Africa or a middle eastern country. That I think is the easy way out. It's sort of childish to be honest. At the same time there is a lot of history here and understanding modern France and the situation isn't as simple as reducing it to over immigration even though I do believe that has been a problem. I also existentially look at the situation and see how it couldn't have been any other way. This will really be able to be spun by right wing politicians that is for sure.
