Analysis- tony robbins shames woman about husband

I found this to be a pretty eye opening interaction, i might even do a video breakdown of it, basically this woman is feeling like her man is spineless she even says "he's a wimp, he cares too much about pleasing others, etc" then in a turn of events, the hosts of the show shame her about this and call her the bad person. While not addressing the underlying issue, which is that she has completely lost attraction to her because he puts her on a pedastal and lets her walk all over him. If anyone needs a talking to , it's actually him.

That’s strange given Tony Robbins usually pushes that message exactly. I would actually criticize Tony in that so much of his relationship interventions seems to be ignoring what they say and just telling the guy to be more alpha. Maybe he saw something not shown in the video to make him think that’s not the issue here.

I thought it was a really good video, thanks for sharing. He correctly highlights her needy tendencies and pathology of projecting her own insecurity and feeling of weakness unto her husband. Good on her for having the courage to open up publicly on stream, that's way more hardcore than therapy!

I think they called it correctly.

The woman basically said, "He rescued me, and I kept testing him by being unkind."

And it seems like they are in a pattern where she's the abuser and he's the abused because he's just stoically absorbing her abuse and trying to prove to her that he loves her.

So, it seems to be a problem dynamic with her as the aggressor and the one that needs to take responsibility.

And it's not the case that, if he just deals with his people-pleasing, that she'll stop being abusive. An abuser doesn't stop until they actually take accountability and decides to make changes.

Good for her that she's trying to improve, but she kinda sucks ngl. Putting a man through "hell" as a test is the most red flag thing ever. Then 10+ years of "testing" for the effort. Bro must have bad taste.
