Bliss Is Not A (Specific) Feeling

59 posts in this topic

You might examine the duality between relative and Absolute Truth.  This became dogma on the path due to Indian Philosophy.

I could say "reality", but for any statement that you make about reality therevis an opposite statement which is equally relatively (un)true.

No one is denying or disputing this claim.

Because nothing has ever happened. have you ever experienced nothing?

Bliss assumes this architecture of the relative vs. The Absolute.  But is there a duality between finite bliss and Absolute Bliss?  Again, this discussion is very philosophically (ideologically) loaded.

I sure have, but what exactly does that have to do with my question?

My man, you'd be surprised what people believe once they blow enough magic powder up their butthole.

Foxes and birds have lots of advantages, but they can't open it's eyes to the absolute, and humans can. Then who needs holes and nests when you have what has not limits as home?

Who wants being an slave when you can be free, tasting the absolute freedom that is your true nature?

Bliss is very simple: it's what happens when all boundaries disappear. Ananda as the advaita said, the absolute joy of being without limitations that is inherent to everything

Bliss is sensed through (and you might even phrase it as "tied to" to be fair) that Soul, that inner fire of creativity, which makes "figuring out the etymological feeling place" very tough from the audiences point of view — IF to say "Hey guys, I want to be *in* on the *inside* of the piece / joke, since i can feel the bleu soul asunder too!... and all the minûte details of it too... right? right? I know cause i went to college of Books w the kind loving smart ppl" Its like,

"... Uhhhhmmmm. Its not something you explain logically? Its more akin to the scenario of... you or i perform the musical piece, or prolific writing piece, And then everyone feels something parallel to the inner fire" (see below)

(part 2) we are the falling leaves, right now, of Autumn/fall. We are the friendship that can happen, Right now. Like, we are the seasons demonstrated for each other now. Like when we return to the Eternal Waterfall of our future-past, that instance is ocurring later on when the events of the fall and fire have already happened, if that makes sense.

Do you ever feel like you are literally being consumed by silence... like there's an invisible black hole that just perpetually sucks you in and swallows you up?

Yeah, it feels like the mind is being sucked in by some singularity.

Because you asked why say “nothing has ever happened” so I answered you, and now you’re asking what has my answer have to do with your question.

And my answer to that would be because it does. It’s related and relevant to your question.

@Mellowmarsh

Well if you scroll back, you will find that my actual question was:

14 hours ago, Hyperion said:

Then why not say "happenings never stay the same forever as fixed unchanging events" instead of "nothing has ever happened”?

And the reason I was asking is because I just don't see how these two statements are related.

@Hyperion  When I dream at night that a tsunami wiped out my town.

And I wake up in the morning to realize that it was just a dream.

Can we not say that what apparently happened in the dream, never actually happened ?

Because you asked why say “nothing ever happened” but then changed the narrative.

But the same answer would have answered to the change of narrative and the answer would be the same because “ ultimately nothing has ever happened and never not happened”

See what I did there..we can all change the narrative to suit our own unique understandings.

Sure, that would be a relatively (un)true statement.

Sure, as long as it suits your particular narrative, then sure, all is hunky dory, no one is disputing this.

@Mellowmarsh

I'll be happy to once more repeat my actual question:

Why not say "happenings never stay the same forever as fixed unchanging events" instead of "nothing has ever happened”?

The first statement implies that something did happen (but didn't last) while the second statement says that nothing ever happened.

So why insist that they state the same when they obviously contradict each other?

You bamboozling me with that one :)

Is it not just plain and simple to say: The tsunami didn't actually wipe out my town, it was just a dream. ie it didn't actually happen, period.
