Does psychedelics make you lazy?

5 posts in this topic

IMO. Short answer: microdosing doesn’t make you lazy but big doses do.

I was thinking about using some 5 meo dmt but I’m doubting it so much. I can’t afford losing my fire right now so I stick to microdosing lsd which actually helps me stay productive.

Is dmt even made to microdose? If yes I might do that.

this video explains the dangers of psychedelics so well. The maker explains how he was so driven before psychedelics.

It’s def a risk; I wouldn’t state it categorically, however.

I doubled my income and had some of my most productive years after an ayahuasca retreat. I was using psychedelics more from a personal development vs a spiritual pursuit back then.

After a couple years I started working with 5meo and focusing on awakening. That did further disconnect me from my job further, despite it being something I was never fully connected to. On the order hand, this less productive-at-work period was a time I fully embraced stage green and changed many things in my personal lifestyle. I was also training hard at the gym and following a strict diet plan, no slacking off.

So I think it largely depends on the individual and their life stage. If you have stage orange work to do and lessons to learn it may be wise to postpone.

As Leo says you can always dose higher later :)

Hasn't been my experience. However, bigger doses can dispel illusion, which can rid you of motivation that is based on the illusion.

But imo it's better to be rid of illusion nevertheless. Better to live in truth. You can find a higher quality, more truth-based motivation and adjust your life to it.

Words can't describe You.

You guys are acting like every psychedelic exp will lead to dispelling of falsehood. It all comes down to interpretation of an exp. From what I have seen is that even experienced psychonauts get pummeled by it if you do it long enough. Even if you look at Leo Gura. He is an empty shell compared to what he was in terms of output.
