I keep on having infinity dreams?

5 posts in this topic

Has anyone ever experienced this before?

I just woke up from an infinity dream that felt particularly experientially vivid, it felt 100% like tripping intensely on weed. (I've tried weed a few times but haven't had it since June. It was on the borderline of too much for me/borderline traumatizing/ego death so I promised myself never to try it again.) So the only thing that DIDN'T feel like tripping and falling through infinity and endless time distortion was that I was connected to my physical body the whole time - aka no physical pain in my dreams, like regular dreams. No racing heartbeat, clammy hands and shivers, etc underlying the tripping; and waking up sober.

What frightened me after I 'woke up' irl and said holy shit and sat up in bed, is that before that all of my infinity dreams didn't have time distortion. So I told myself 'at least I don't experience time distortion, it's just my brain processing the intensity and trauma/fear around taking weed, they're just dreams and will slowly go away.' I think one of my peak fears, is that I don't know which point in time I'm in, and the thought of physical pain/torture is very frightening to me. I'm afraid of somehow veering away from the dream of my body, to a dream that has physical torture, even though I've been safely encompassed in my body this whole time. The last time I was on weed I could feel my physical sensations like I was feeling them with a microscope - like I remember an air bubble traveling up my throat and was shocked by how much of that I felt. I was afraid that I would get a panic attack, because I couldn't fathom how painful and frightening that would feel at that level of intensity.

I thought my infinity dreams were ebbing down and that I was getting over and processing my fears, in my last 'peak' infinity dream (which was falling through challenging/mentally torturous situations as well as physically falling through various things, spaces and substances and dying over and over again) by the end of that dream-series I 'woke up' in my dream in horror to 'remember' the reality of my situation (I lived in some very shit living situation somewhere cold in Europe in the 1940s in that dream) and was just screaming and crying in the dream, so disappointed this was real. Both times I 'woke up' in my infinity dreams I felt like I had just re-remembered and became lucid of my 'real' life. And I never am able to wake myself up from the dreams like I do in regular nightmares, because in the dreams I am not lucid of my waking life.

Anyway the dream I woke up from felt just as real as real in the moment :/ And mentally felt like it lasted about 3-4 years long, at least that's the story/memory/experiencial feeling I had in the dream when I was trying to describe my experience to the dream-anesthesiologist while tripping who was doing surgery on my left foot.

Seriously scary, bizarre, interesting stuff

I haven't had that but I have had once or twice an infinity experience (infinite space moving forward imploding into itself like the next moment of the visual apparatus or screen is it's own moment moving further to the infinity) during sleep where I knew i was asleep and i was watching.

Oh interesting. To me it feels like something fractal-y/mathematical in the shape of my experience (that has infinite zoom) but experience it in different formats

What is disturbing about the dream I had this morning is that my sense of time collapsed/compressed into a tiny amount of time and measuring time became really really subjective/meaningless/groundless

Consciousness is scary, yes.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.
