Hellish Health Problem

6 posts in this topic

A week ago, last saturday, I got sick. It was at night after a big meal (maybe too big), where when I was trying to sleep as usual, even falling asleep, I sudenly wake up with such a panic attack. I felt a pain in my ears and I thought an insect was eating my brain. It was such an horriphic episode that I had to dial emergency. Never in my life I've been through something similar out of the blue.

Symptoms included temblors, feeling like collapsing, irrationalizations, confusion, panick. But I could speak, walk and had no blurred vision so emergency didn't took me. But it was so bad that at that moment I prefered to have a broken leg.

After walking for blocks to the clinic the symptoms subsided. In fact it was by movement that I felt ok.

This continued for several nights after. It was a specific moment of late day that my body just made a click and started going downhill. No past medical records, I am healthy, just nothing to track it to.

You might not be surprised that the doctor I attended to didn't have any clue and said it was just stress and laughed it off. Such a corruption, jesus. I paid a lot for just 15 minutes of attendance.

Fast foward one week later, I am making a full recovery. My first intuition is that food caused the problem. I basically took this entire week to pay close attention how anything ingested altered my state.

I don't now what the fuck happened. Luckily I am good now and I could recover all the missing sleep. A couple of days with just 2 hours of sleep, which makes you feel even worse.

I am happy I survived. And this whole situation made me see how people don't care about truth.

I even realized I am immortal.

I am the impossible made reality.

@Human Mint Well, I am glad you’re feeling better. I’ve dealt with health scares and issues my whole life, so it’s just become a part of my identity. Healthy people haven’t a clue about the seriousness of such issues. It’s one thing to see it on the news or from a loved one, but to actually live it is completely different. And they’re in for a rude awakening when it comes to them.

@Human Mint

what a shitty doctor. something like that should be taken seriously.

movement is a good measure in most cases, for sure. also sensory stimulation and distraction and/or reappraisal. although it would also be interesting to find out what is beneath these symptoms.

a spider crawling into my ear is right up there on my list of fears along with claustrophobia and a shark attacking me inside a swimming pool.

creepy.

What did you eat?

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.
