Am I Hallucinating?

7 posts in this topic

Depends on what you are identifying as. Ask a scientist, a mystic, a rock, and a relgiious person, and you’ll get different answers.

What are you?

@ElvisN

Meaning is a downstream phenomenon. So in further contemplating, the idea of hallucations and the validity of another being, etc., these are all secondary things, and relationship-dependent alongside thoughts, feelings, emotions and ideas. Your world view shapes it all at the forefront, and those imprecise layers are sortve subserviant to that primary directed flow,

Which is to say, you build meaning from the question itself, like thats how it keeps changing, cause its not like its something set in stone, w/ one single conscious outlook. Nor is it something you can easily translate WHILE in the act of living it.  You are finding "what works" and what doesnt, and trying to see from a more absolute perspective, such that it may broaden that whole limited, but necessary, conscious and unconscious experience.

You are looking through the kaleidoscope window — looking for the right heirarchy on perception, like its the artist's challenge, Like how to understand whats happening, As it is happening, and theres absolutely alternate ways to get around that, to see it more clearly, or to feel what it is like, beyond settling on the simplicity of word:"hallucination", since its only a placeholder word towards an otherwise more truthful position, a felt-truth / positio youre most alignd w/

P.s. You might prefer to view as that, And thats fine. Its necessary. Thats something you use as a placeholder, a way to say something concrete in the moment. Because others will know *what you mean / or wat u meant to say, even though you may have ideas surrounding it or future ideas to connect back to it ~

All of my writings come from David Goggins, And his book titled "My back, my sweat, and my three shins"

Reviewer #2: Wat the hell is going on w/ this new David Goggins book, he went from motivational speaker to outright nut job

Reviewer #3: Someone told me i could buy this book for self help, but i found its better to read when you're seeing lava lamp shapes out of the corner of your eyes.

@ElvisN Solve the issue a nother way, e.g.,

You can have local hallucinations, or global hallucinations. i only bring this up to point to a paradox of self, and how theres no way to draw a line, or separate "individual" (or shared, and/or group think) "hallucinations",  from your own globally distributed hallucination realization  So you can talk about many things when talking about hallucination, but then it would not make sense from the global perspective, the globally produced vers., seeing as then, everyone should just say "its an hallucination" much like saying "its just all consciousness". Why not just get rid of that word, since its one of these base terms that dont signify anything else, besides for functioning as a local delusion. Try a different route around the issue, otherwise we are forcing the content of a locally-felt or sympathized delusion, onto the absolute perspective on consciousness.

P.s. Understanding the little novel details and perspectives of the Absolute is something to aim towards, imo, as itll free you from being bounced between doublets of things. Consider the world could not exist as just a doublet, like... We clearly are not. Its a life-giving, life creating experience ~ Too much life, via those incessant differences in our life.
