Pulled the move I was making in my head from the start as a retort here!

To be honest though, that type of thinking is reprehensible to me. Anathema to connection and love. I feel gross even writing it!

Yea, exactly. Half the dudes in this thread would get quite upset reading r/FemaleDatingStrategy and say that the women are gold diggers and materialistic etc. then in the same breath write out shit like what’s in this thread.

This is sadly true, and that’s coming from a woman who understands this truth.

It’s not even the man’s fault because he was simply born this way. Evolution tricked us big time into believing this was all about romantic love and we fell for the trick hook line and sinker. As for evolution in progress, it only cares about replicating itself as and through the male and female reproductive organs. Humans just turned this into a big love story because sex and love became a big money making business for them. Human relationships are simply transactional, it’s big business and they are simply using each other to make their business grow. This can all be seen through for the scam it is.

I would rather dare to challenge that assumption. Why many people settle in lon term marriages ? Why many men stay single ? These are questions worth contemplating.
