@Nivsch Who do you predict will win? You got your finger on the pulse.

How many winners can there be? More than one? I don't really understand how your system works over there.

At least on the paper, the party leader who his party gets to be the biggest (for example gets 26 seats when all other will have less than that) is the one who get the chance to establish a coalition. Realistically it can only be either Netanyahu or Eisenkot, because the rest of the parties are significantly smaller.

There are expections when a tinier party leader can be prime minister with a rotation with someone else but it is less common.

Now he has to form a coalition with parties that together hold at least 61 seats in the Knesset. Why 61? Because it is above the half of 60 out of the total numebr of 120 members the Knesset holds.

But realistically, there are two blocs today.

Netanyahu's bloc, which includes Likud, Smotrich party, Ben Gvir party, Ultra Orthodox parties, Winter party (if he pass the treshold) and in the other side the opposite bloc which decalres it won't sit with Netanyahu and includes Lapid and Bennett's party, Eisenkot, the Democrats of Golan, Lieberman and the Arab parties.

The thing with the Arab parties is that some parties don't want to sit with them, and some other parties are careful about declaring they are willing to sit with them to not lose votes from the center-right, and that is because Netanyahu has brainwashed the public that Arab parties are dangerous and are terror supporters.

You can establish a government with less than 61 Knesset members, but it is more difficult, and requires support from another party from outside, or otherwise to function as a minority governemnt, but then you would not be able to pass almost any legistlation and significant move, so it is highly recommended you get to build a bloc that will past the treshold of 61 Knesset memebers.

Just a few clarifications.

It isn't always the biggest party which can do the first trial, but the one which percieved by the president as having he highest chance to form a coalition.

I am not saying the Arab Parties are controversial only because of Netanyahu of course, but I think he has a big part of this.

A minority government can do things even without a support from outside but it is much more difficult and unstable.

@Nivsch What is the polling like for Netanyahu bloc vs anti-Netanyahu bloc?

Is it very close?

Our system is complicated so there is a chance I will add more micro-clarifications along the way 😆

The situation is very close unfortunately, and the gap between the blocs is small. It is going to be a very close and exciting election.

In response to your messages I just searched for the latest poll and found an article I think is very good to explain the situation. Better than what I can say in short message. I translated the page to English so tell me if you see it in English too, and if not, if you succeeded to translate it.

Wow very difficult to know. I feel like the three options of Netanyahu, Eisenkot or that two blocs are tied, are equally possible.
