Noise canceling headphones for autism.

If you have autism I highly advise buying a pair of noise cancelling headphones.

When I was a teenager I naturally just kept buying huge headphones and wore them everywhere, I didnt realize until recently that I buy them because of autism.

Wearing them as an autistic person is a game changer.

Autist have less identity so if there is loud sounds and a bunch of noises they are very sensitive and very distracting.

If you wear the headphones its like a barrier between you and reality and you can react like a normal person does instead of everything causing you anxiety.

If you buy a pair that allows you to hear the outside world while wearing them its even better, you will become more outspoken and friendly instead of every social interaction being confusing. The people you talk to wont like it but who cares.

Out of things to help you this is like a 9 out of 10.

I recently bought a pair instead of those shitty ear buds and I realized why I wore them as a child. Its funny to me that I just did it naturally.

i'm not autistic, but very sensitive to certain types of noises, although i've found that headphones (over-ear and noise-cancelling) don't help me that much? sometimes they make things worse when i hear loud external sounds mixing with my music.  if you know what i'm doing wrong, please let me know:)
