That is not what I am saying.  With self inquiry you have to do a thorough investigation of what you truly believe you are. How can you wake up to what you really are if you do not know what you think you are. So we are really fucked here.  I can't even get him to give me one honest answer about what he thinks he is and yet - he has an identity.  Because he is here as him.

Im at this point if u ask me to think of myself, my awareness instantly pointed to this direct presence experience,this is it, its not my face, my image, this is my honest answer, this is exactly what i think i am, stop denying my answer

Ok.  Then what i want you to realize is that you hold yourself as precisely that  "this direct presence experience,this is it, its not my face" that this IS your identity  but notice something. This is a fucking thought ! How can it be you when it was so not you that it was a flashing thought?! Fuck.   I mean where does that leave you then? Oh my fucking God there isnt a you.

So you have to keep doing that until something mystical happens and then that will be enlightenment.
